As a nice update, we booked 7 (yes, Seven!) Vernadah suites on May 23, for the Jun 22 Koningsdam Alaska (return) sailing. Today, June 18, we got email confirmations for 5 units (oddly, we're missing confirmations on rooms number 5 and 6.... we did get confirmations for unit 7, so we have to call in the check what happened as it should be consecutively confirmed... likely we're just missing the emails I think) Total cost per 2 pax unit is USD2,027.50. (this includes USD158 of optional cancellation insurance) - we got at least a partially obstructed oceaview verandah.. its about CAD2,780 at the current exchange rate.. (CAD2,564 if we didn't get the insurance). To compare, we had been watching on Costo.ca until they turned off the bookings and it was priced over CAD5k for the units just 2 days ago. Take that number with a grain of salt as that's for almost end-times, last minute booking.

Was this the June 22 Koningsdam? , we were on the phone with HA when they cut off accepting regular bookings yesterday and they mentioned they had 5+ rooms left (we were trying to book 5 rooms last minute for a family trip. So It seems 1) there was still rooms available 2) nobody waitlisted as it wasnt sold out 3) so I think they would have started contacting the standby's...

Is there a chat thread where everyone who got confirmed can post? That way the rest of us can jump onto that standby list 😉 as we know its being run through 😉
