  1. Does anyone have any experience with a couples massage? There is a picture on HAL's site of side by side tables, appearing to be in a private suite with a Jacuzzi tub for two and floor to ceiling windows. I went to the spa page and it offers couples massage but says you can customize a package. Any info on the customizing? Thanks in advance.

  2. Absolutely, We also have two on RCCL but didn't have the dates. Friends of ours are booked on an Alaska Cruise this August and we decided to go with them. Need to speak to someone directly, to link our bookings for dinner and hope to get cabins next to each other. That's why I can't do it online. :( Might miss our "perks" with CCL but that's not why we cruise. Excited to go North.

  3. We just did the Liberty Mar 16th-23rd. Still in Fl on Vacay. :) DD and SIL, DH and myself. Had the best time because it had been almost a year since I had seen my DD. Had some mixed feelings. Food was OK. seemed to be boring, can't explain that because I love Carnival. I do hope they don't do the new menu fleet wide, I'd miss the soups. :) Our cabin steward was great, room only....zero personality but my DH got the impression he might be new. Our pin said Liberty but was dated 2013. Our platinum gift was Tervis Tumblers. We got those on our 2012 cruise. It was ok because we got them "jacked" by our DD and a friend. :) Got Hats 2013, I like to work out in them. I was looking forward to the cooler bags but oh well. Had a great cruise just felt a little off. DH wants me to explain it more but I just can't. OFF, that's it. Love Carnival and can't wait to go on the Miracle in Jan. Just my two cents. Keep Cruisin'.

  4. We consider our gratuities to be part of the price of the cruise and prepay them also. We also give extra at the end of the cruise to those who have made our cruise more memorable.

That's what we do too. I just wish they would make it a service charge that could not be removed. I also remember back when the last night in the MDR was half full, when it was full the days before.

  5. DH and I are platinum and the past three cruises we have linked our freinds/family's cabin to our sail and sign card so that we can board together. That's the only "perk" we care about. Last cruise was June 2013 and brought my In-laws with us, no problems. Booked my daughter's B-day cruise last October, for this March and did not think criteria had changed. Thanks to this site...I found out it had. My bad for not checking but honestly didn't think I needed to. Called Carnival tonight and they were great. Moved my daughter in my cabin and put my husband in with my son-in-law. Waived the fee to make changes. Nice. :) They are going to acknowledge her Bday in a special way, Totally unsolicited. Completely happy with Carnival right now.

  6. I didn't think this would be included and have asked Carnival staff who couldn't tell me yes or no. Wher did you get this info? I hope it's true!

Ah crap, I don't know, maybe I just assumed she was getting the 2.0 Liberty got when we went on her. Shoot, now I'm bummed. Well, just a little bit. If guy's burgers aren't there it means less work out time for me. :D
