  1. We did this cruise a few spring breaks ago. I enjoyed going to some not so congested islands.

Panama was an interesting city, but "myfriendmario" stiffed us on a panama canal transit...so I'm not one to recommend them.

The Spanish part wasn't a huge deal for us since we lived in Miami...so we had already experienced immersion :)

The tango show was really good!

What means the word Stiffed? I have cann't translate it to dutch.

  2.

Con....what is frikandel and bitterbal? I'm all about trying new foods and drink!!

It's a snack we eat a lot over here in Holland.

Trial bitter balls at their best! The Mora Bitter balls have a crispy crust and are filled with tender beef. Delicious with mustard or another dipping sauce. Surprise visit or suddenly delicacies You put the bitter balls quickly on the table; also out of the oven they are wonderfully crispy. Delicious Mora croquettes with drinks

Here are two links to a site where you can see what they are. Try them when you are at Spice Beach.

  3. Hoopster....The Woodwind Snorkel trip looks great. Might check into that. We are professional beach goers!! Looking onto Lac Bay and the Spice Club. Might do one each week! I'll try to talk my husband into the Woodwind thing.....he's just not a snorkeler and would sit on the boat.....so not much fun for him. We'll see.

Con.....what an awesome price!!! You should be right at home on those islands! I love your country' date=' by the way![/font']

So far a way from home, but still we're in The Netherlands. I so happy that we can speak dutch. And go to eat frikandel or bitterbal at Spice Club.

  4. This itinerary looks very interesting and I would love some information regarding the cruise. Was it difficult to find a hotel the night before the cruise? What about transportation from airport to port? I have sailed on RCCL 4 times - 3 on the Adventure class and once on Oasis. How does Vision compare to the Adventure class? And of course, did you enjoy the cruise?

Some friends are considering booking a western Caribbean cruise in Feb, but this one looks more appealing to me. Appreciate quick responses because I think they are wanting to book very soon.

Thanks in advance for your help!

There lots of hotels in Panama City or Colon.

We are looking for transportation to Myfriendmario, found them on this forum.
