We love to cruise, so we tend to book inside cabins and use the savings to use on excursions, which we book independently. Also, we are rather thrifty during the year in what we do for entertainment and how we spend our hard earned cash. Most of our money we save so we can cruise several times a year. We are now cutting it back to only twice a year, but looking at much longer voyages! It's really great to be on a ship for more than just 1 week!

I have just over 1000 points on my BOA MC. I want to cash them in for 2 $500. certificates. I was planning on doing this the first part of december. Now, my question is this, can I wait until feb. or march to use the certificates (to apply them to a cruise)? I do have the NCL Dawn booked for the 5/17/09 sailing, but just found out our BIL & SIL may have to cancel. If so, we may do a different NCL sailing, and don't want to apply the certificates until we are sure we are going.

If I redeem the 2 $500. certificates in dec. will I have up to 12 months to apply them?

I was not aware that I could book all three cabins if I am the only one present. It would be nice if I could book all three cabins and if the LA would let me apply the F&F coupons right then and there. I'll make sure I have my mom's cc#.

When We were on the Mariner, we booked 2 cabins, put myself and SIL in a cabin, and DH and his brother in another. I had to use my credit card for both deposits, as my SIL & BIL were not there to authorize their credit card. So if you book all 3 cabins while on board, I think you will need to put all the deposits on your credit card, and have mom & dad pay you when you get home. I can't remember if we could have called them for RC to get their permission to use their credit card.

Ride the oceanview elevators all the way to the top, and when you exit, look behind the elevators. You will see Flamingos! They are soooo adorable. I didn't get a picture of them when we were on the Jewel in jan/05, so we have booked her again for the Panama cruise, just so I can get a picture of the flamingos!

Mommabean tell me about the light houe in Key West. Did you walk there on your own? I didn't realize they have a light house. I want to go there. How much was it to go up in it? Will be on Enchantment in Jan. Can't wait!

From NE Ohio here. Will be on the Caribbean Princess 4-29-06 to try Princess for the first time.

Then, we will be on the Freedom 9-10-06 sailing for our 28th anniversary.

We have a big problem, cruiseaholics, and trying to figure out the cure. I have found the only cure is to book another cruise!
