  1. I have read some reviews about Belize. For people that have been there, do you feel like it is safe to go outside the gates. Have any of you been outside the gates just walking around. If it is so unsafe why do the cruise ships go there. I don't want to take any of the excursions offered there. Thank you in advance.

  2. I was checking on Carnivals booking engine for a cruise. I booked it under early saver and did it again under past guest giving my number. They both came up the same price. I did this on a couple of cruises same thing. I thought you got a cheaper deal on early saver? Can someone answer this for me?

  3. I am disabled so I would not be doing zip lining, I would not be doing water sports or the beach. What is there to do other than just hang out at the port. I have seen a couple of videos but they only showed some run down places. Everything I read about it only says it is a beautiful place and expensive if you use a taxi. What is there to see? Should I take a cruise somewhere else? If anyone could, please give me some information. Thank you for your time in advance.

  4. I have only sailed out of PC once, but we stayed at the County Inn & Suites, very nice hotel, free parking/shuttle to/from ship, and it was only a few miles from the terminal. I would definitely stay there again...

That sounds good thank you for responding.

  5. I am planning on taking a cruise out of Port Canaveral in April. I was wondering if you could tell me of an inexpensive hotel hotel for the night before the cruise. Really don't need anything fancy just clean and in a safe location. Would like something close to the ship if possible. Just don't want to get lost.:)

  6. Is anyone out there having any luck finding a hotel in New Orleans for the weekend of April 17th to 19th or for May 8th to May 10th 2015. I might have to change my dates completely.I might have to go in the fall of 2015. I was just worried about the weather if I have to go in the fall. I guess a hurricane could hit in April or May just as easily.I am about to give up.Anyone know about public parking in New Orleans. I might have to stay in Metairie and drive into New Orleans.

  7. You should check out the "New Orleans" board on here. This question has been asked and answered many times there. Such as this thread: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1965835

I really love Prytania Park hotel, but I believe you have to stay there 2 nights to get the free parking. Some will recommend Quality Inn in Gretna. Don't do it. Just don't. You'll thank me later. ;)

Can you tell me where is hotel is? how close is it to Burbon or Jackson Square? I know where these places are.

  8. We are panning on a cruise out of New Orleans next year in April. Can someone tell me of a hotel that has onsite parking. We wil be on a budget so we can't afford a high priced hotel but we don't want a dump either. I hope someone out there can help me.Thank you in advance.

  9. I have read a lot of post about St Thomas, most of what I have read is about the beaches. I like to see the island when I go on a cruise.I like historical stuff or unusual places. I can't seem to find what I am looking for and I have looked at the ports board. Is there anything to do where the ship docks or do you have to take a cab.I did read about paradise point,if you ride the tram down how far is it to walk back to the ship. I use a cane and I can walk but I can't walk a mile. I don't want anything to do with water,so the beach is out. Any suggestions of things to do would be helpful thank you in advance.

  10. I have read a lot of reviews and quite a large number of them have complained about the food served on all ships. I can say myself the last cruise I went on the food was not so good. It was not horrible like some people have said but on my other Carnival cruises the food was much better.Since so many people are complaining about the food why doesn't Carnival do something about it. That is my only real complain. I really like Carnival and can say I have never had a bad cruise with them.

  11. We went on the ruins & river wallace tour (via Carnival) on our Feb 2014 cruise and i noticed a couple of mosquitoes but never got bit.

However, i did find a couple of seed ticks crawling on me while we were at the ruins and I wasn't in the shrubbery at all. the ticks crawling on me kinda freaked me out since i hadn't been in the bushes or anything. We did full body checks on each of us after that excursions.

Well that does it I can forget about Belize.

  12. I'm not 100% sure on this but I think it you link your account to others and give them charging rights then you credit info will cover their charges as well.

It showed her charges and my charges separately but they were all on my statement. I didn't have to pay for hers though.

  13. On my last cruise my 18 year old granddaughter shared the room with me.Everything that was charged was on my statement. Was that because she was underage? I hope to cruise again next year and was wondering if that will happen again if the person is older.I thought each person got their own charge statement.
