Do any of you know what would happen if a cabin was booked through a casino offer - such as a free cabin except for taxes and port charges and then something happens and the person who originally had the casino offer couldn't go? Would the 2nd person and or other people booked in the cabin still sail as usual or would there be an upcharge for their cabin? Anyone had this experience?

I leave in a couple days for a short cruise. I have an online offer of 20% off spa services. Thought I might get a massage eventhough I can get one much cheaper at home. In the past, I have gotten offers while on the ship to book something at the spa. Can any of you tell me what your experience has been with either and which might be the best deal?

Sailing on the Sunshine and will need to be able to actually call home and talk to my kids. My cell service is with AT&T. Our only port is Half Moon Cay. Will I be able to use Facebook Messenger audio call if I have the Wi-Fi package? Any tips or recommendations? Thanks in advance!

According to the link you sent smoking is allowed on the port side forward on deck 3 which is where our cabin will be. I doubt we will be outside of our room in that area very much though - was just thinking about being able to keep our curtain open some. Thank you!

Thanks - we decided on 3124 eventhough that's the smoking side of the ship on deck 3.

Going to book today for a 4 day in August on a casino offer. Which side is best - port or starboard? Is smoking allowed on one of those sides? Also, which is best view wise? Our options are 3115, 3116, 3119, 3120, 3123, 3124. Any pictures? Thanks in advance!

Is there a company that does just a Starfish Point and snorkeling tour only? I'm afraid my boys - 8 and 9 - might be a little intimidated by the stingrays. What about just getting off the ship and looking for an excursion at the port area? Good idea or should we book ahead of time? Thanks!

This worked! When I called my PVP the first time, she said they wouldn't waive any fees since they had reinstated pre Covid rules. Wasn't ready to make the change that day anyway, so when I called back to make the change, I asked again if any of the fees and penalties could be waived (don't know unless you ask). She told me to hold on and was gone for a few minutes, came back and made the change, asked me to hold again and when she came back she said she had been able to waive ALL the fees! I was so glad! I really think it depends on what supervisor is on duty and maybe what kind of mood they are in. Glad I tried a 2nd time!

Sailing on the Pride for New Year's and we would like to be able to watch some of the Peach Bowl game (GO DAWGS)! First time sailing at New Year's so I was wasn't sure.

The one which was originally booked was 18 - the one now going is 16.

We are sailing for New Years and my boyfriend’s granddaughter can’t go. We have found a replacement for her but my PVP is telling me we’re going to have to pay an additional $300 just to switch names! Personally, I think that’s ridiculous but I know she doesn’t make the rules. Is there any way to get around that? I’d be fine with maybe even $100 to change the name and date of birth but $300 seems way excessive. Also, what documentation will I need from her parents showing I have permission to take her on this cruise? Thanks guys, you’re always here to save the day!

Sailing with an 18 year old who doesn't have license or picture ID. Would she be able to sail with just her birth certificate and no picture ID? Sailing on Carnival.

How can I go about finding out when the 2nd elegant night will be on our 8 day Pride Cruise for New Year's? I know the first one will be New Year's Eve but I'd like to know when the 2nd one will be because we want to book the steakhouse for one night but not sure which night to book. Thanks!

I've sailed many times before and never purchased Cheers. I haven't cruised since February, 2020. Things are different this time - lost my husband to Covid in 2021 and am sailing with my youngest children and my new boyfriend for New Year's from Tampa. I'm not a big drinker, like some of the fruity and chocolate drinks on occasion. My boyfriend will definitely be getting Cheers (we are booked in separate cabins because of kids ages) so I don't have to get it. Thinking with all the other drinks that you can get, it might still be worth it. Thoughts please? Also, price of drinks now would help too. Things like Kiss on the Lips, etc. Thanks!

Awesome to hear you'll be on this sailing as well! I saw that we would be in Grand Cayman very early the next morning. I guess we can drag ourselves out of bed or maybe just celebrate all night and not go to bed..... What are some of the excursions in the ports you have planned? Having a hard time deciding this year.

I will surely try to do that. I used to do very in depth reviews, but they are so time consuming!

I will be sailing on the Pride (first time on the Pride) on Dec. 30 with 8 other people. This is my first cruise since Feb., 2020 (pre-covid). Lots has changed since that Feb., 2020 cruise - lost my husband of 29 years to Covid in February, 2021 and it's been a hard road. I'm really looking forward to this cruise, especially since it's going to be New Year's. Tell me what we should expect as far as New Year's Eve celebrations that go on. We board on Friday and New Year's Eve will be on Saturday. Thanks in advance!
