We don't have a travel agent that we use on a regular.  Usually, I do the travel booking and organizing for DH and I, sometimes for friends and family. The last TA we used for a land vacation, I wouldn't use again.   I know sometimes TAs can offer up some perks, but does the cruise line TA offer perks?  We're looking to book our first VV cruise for next year, getting away from Carnival and Royal.  Thanks

Glad I invested in the drink package this go round. Really, really worth it. Dress code has been pretty relaxed. 😄

We are on that same cruise. Matt will be on vacation during our cruise, and not scheduled to return until November. Too bad for us indeed. We will have Steven Schwartz. I heard he was amazing.

Awesome! Can't wait to see the next one. What's your itinerary? We booked over a year ago, and will go on the Vista in October, which means we have to go through a long hot summer. We live in Vegas...a loooong hot summer!

Yep! I too agree. I will look every now and then on this thread just for information on the ship...but come May I will be posted on here more often for info on our Oct 2017 cruise. ;)

I took two cruises while also working on my Masters. The thumb drive worked for me just fine, or she could load her docs on the Microsoft One Cloud and not have to worry about using a thumb drive. I understand what she is going through, but it's nice to be able to still travel and finish school. All the best to her.

The southern route was our favorite. it was port intensive but was awesome, we still talk about it. Our plan is to do another one soon. 7 days was not long enough:D

We were facing the same situation. After waiting for RC to come out with their schedule for 2014 Mediterranean the itinerary on the Serenade we wanted was not offered, so we jump ship to Celebrity. This will be our first time on Celebrity and will be going Oct 14. I heard a lot of great things about Celebrity and looking forward to trying out. Good Luck.

Plan another cruise right away, or least start looking at another one. This will help a great deal...trust me ;)

I love your review. It brings back wonderful memories of the cruise we took on the Allure's sister ship Oasis. It was 8 of us!! DH and I both said "we will never get on anything that big, just to damn big. We had the time of our lives...yes we did!!!

I read every single page, which I usually don't do with reviews. This has helped me A LOT. DH and I are going on the West. Med cruise in 2014. I know it's a whole 2 years away, but...

Anyway, the information from your review has been very valuable. You have made me even more excited to go. We have never been to Europe, and our plans are to enjoy it just as much as you & hubby did. We have some friends that say they are going with us. We'll see.:rolleyes:
