Your passports were checked as you were exiting the country??
Yes. That way they confirm you do not overstay your time allowed in country without a visa.

We barely made our flight due to a long line of people waiting to board the buses, plus the crowded parking lot made it impossible for our bus to even get out until some vehicles were removed.
It was a nightmare. I felt bad for those with short connections.

We were on the Med/Israel cruise last October. Our stop at Mykonos was awful. There were at least 4 large ships there including ours, the N.S. It was literally shoulder to shoulder walking around the town. We went back to the ship after one hour.
Something had to give as this was clearly unsustainable.

Considering how many people I have seen leaving the bathrooms without washing their hands....I don't go near any self service station.

I think the real issue here is that, after all this time, HAL provides no way for a booked passenger to easily see the OBC credits that have been applied, pre-cruise, to any booking via the app or the website, no matter their source.
YES! That would make things much much easier.

I'm curious about the AARP portion. Do you each have an AARP account or both names on one account? Thanks!
AARP in my name, Military in his.

Well I feel like an idiot. Seems I had already applied for this credit - and received it.

And your stock verification documentation is not more than three months old?
Screen-shooted the stock holdings the day I submitted the request. It was verified by Stockperks and let me go to the next step. The strange part is this has worked for me on 3 previous cruises....Military+AARP+CCL. The only time I was denied the CCL OBC was when I booked a free cruise (not a casino deal). This one is a full fare w/HIA.

Rejected again. Guess I have to call HA tomorrow.

Is your cruise next year or later?

I agree with the others that you should resubmit your request.
I will do this and report back. Thanks.

Was this a written notification or were you told verbally?
Email from Stockperks, day after I requested the credit with my booking #.

Did you have any special discounts such as a casino or travel agent discount?
No. Regular cruise. Full fare. I booked directly with HA.

Did you use stockperks
Yes. Went through Stockperks. The rejection email was from them.
We did a cruise in May and received the CCL OBC through Stockperks along with the Military and AARP through HA. -
Just got notified that our request to apply CCL stock for OBC was rejected due to having other OBC on the sailing.
We were always able to get CCL OBC along with Military and AARP.
has anyone else experienced this?Sailing is in November 2024.

SDARCH, that is also a great place. Didn't think of that. But if it is busy up there then you have to relinquish at some point!
@drdaddy wasnt crowed at all when I was on a jog going under the bridge entering from the Pacific. the deck above the lido gives you great side views of the machines pulling you through the locks

I have a secret place that involves a brisk walk on a moving belt.

Nothing like going to ROTTERDAM to board the ROTTERDAM and staying at the ROTTERDAM pre-cruise.
We did this in May. Loved it.

When you go to check out, the credits will show up and you can apply them at that point.

After 2 poor meals in PG we’ve stopped going.
I have never had a good experience in PG.

I’m sure you can cancel it if desired…Or if they fix the problems it could be fine
Very true. It's a year out and since HA gave all of you a partial refund, I would imagine they are reaching out to the tour operator. I'm at about 50/50 for excurision satisfaction as it is.

I had put off writing it up, but tonight I decided I needed to…I did a HAL excursion focusing on a king crab meal, called King Crab and Campfire.
OMG...I literally just booked this excursion last night for the 2025 cruise.

I would ask HAL (A) why are they 'overselling' this feature/benefit. and then ask (B) what was the criteria for having CO taken away from me and
I would guess that someone with a very high status booked later and demanded the benefit and the lower status passenger lost out. its how the airlines work

Source? Don't blame them, tho...the machines seem very maintenance intensive.
Personally witnessed the missing one on the Rotterdam last month and the Lido bartenders said they were going on the remaining two ships. Self service beer taps were also gone on the Rotterdam...if they were ever there.
And yes...they always seemed to have a lot of down time.
So, about Pinnacle Grill...

I've never been a fan of PG. My least favorite specialty to dine in. Honestly, I've had much better meals at Outback.
