We have stayed there several times and will be (hopefully) again in December. It is within walking distance to a a Publix, Starbucks, and a few restaurants. The area is safe, the rooms were clean and in decent shape, and there is a free breakfast. Since we flew into Ft. Lauderdale, we did not use their shuttle.

We are also on this sailing in a Crown Loft. Once inside front door of terminal, a Royal employee will direct you to an elevator (just off to the right) that takes you to the suite waiting area. Your hand luggage will be scanned before entering the waiting area. See you there!

I was lucky enough to see the flyer on Friday night and grab one of the owner's suites. The gentleman said it was a weekend special that had just been released a couple hours earlier. I believe there were 4 available Friday night.

I was under the impression the Ultimate Dining Package included lunch only on sea days.

We used Access Line Transportation for our last cruise and will for our next cruise but have also used Quicksilver Tours.

Thank you for the replies Arzeena and CruiseMomTX. This will be our first visit to Hilton Rose Hall and my husband and I are really looking forward to it. I will ask about a cabana at check-in and hope for the best. I'm sure we will have a great time with or without one.

Has anyone been able to reserve a cabana in advance of their visit? If so, who did you contact? I've made a day pass reservation through Resort for a Day.
Thank you.

I have to agree. We asked for a quote from Executive Limo and, when we didn't respond within 24 to his quote, we got a less than friendly email about it. When I explained our delay and we tried additional communications, he did not respond. I would not recommend them.

Yes, bottled water, wine, soda, beer, and champagne available from 11 am to 11 pm. One morning after breakfast I asked the CK manager if he could get me a few bottles of water and he said sure, even though it wasn't 11 am yet. There are also several juices and water in a machine by the coffee machine that you can use 24 hours a day. If you want a mimosa, the bar staff can give you OJ from the gun with the champagne.
In order to get wine, champagne or beer beginning at 11:00 am, can you just walk in and order a drink or is this available from Coastal Kitchen only with your lunch?
I totally agree about suites. When we booked our first suite, I told my husband "Don't worry, this will be a one and done. I just want to experience a suite once ." That was three suites ago with three more booked. I can't say I wasn't warned in advance. Glad you had a wonderful time and enjoyed all the perks.

My husband likes to eat tomatoes every day so he always takes a couple of the grilled tomatoes from the WJ every morning.

Can anyone recommend some lemony or citrus scents? My sister in law is looking for something new.
She also wears Chance eau tendre by Chanel.
I bought myself the original green Be Delicious by DKNY in St Maarten the last time we were there.
I also love lemon and citrus scents.
My favorite lemon scent is from C O Bigelow (Bath and Body Works) and it is called Lemon. I'm on my 2nd or 3rd bottle. If you want all lemon and not much else, this is the scent.
Bath and Body also has an Orange Ginger scent that I buy in their body spray.

For anyone familiar with Port Canaveral cruises, we have a 12:30 pm flight out of MCO after our Freedom of the Seas cruise. What time should I schedule our return trip to the airport once we get off the ship? We are using a car service, not a shuttle.

We stay at Hyatt House every time we visit Ft. Lauderdale and love it. Large rooms, full kitchens and free breakfast. Do check various sites when price checking. Lower prices can be found.

I typically use powder but have some of the 'sticks' as well - check out the avon brand - highly recommended on reviews - lots of colors (I have 2 of them) and not that pricey! :)
https://www.avon.com/product/33655/be-blushed-cheek-color
P.S. ...and also free returns with Avon if you don't like the produce/color!
I avoided sticks for decades but absolutely love them now, especially the ones from Avon. They look much better than powder now that I am over 50. They are inexpensive and last forever. I also like that I'm not getting powder all over everything (sometimes the powders break during traveling) and I don't need to pack a blush brush.

We took our Bose SoundLink speaker on our last cruise and it was perfect. It came in so handy when getting ready in the cabin or on the balcony (being mindful of volume and neighbors, of course.) It is the perfect size and easy to pack.

I know it has been discussed but don't know if it had been determined that Coastal Kitchen was included as a room service option for suites on the Oasis and Allure.

Just had our first JS a month ago and found the true perks to be the extra cabin space, the walk in closet and the bathtub. Enjoy!
-
I had a balcony cabin that connected to a grand suite and could hear conversations when people were sitting on their sofa but nothing else. It was not enough to be bothered by but our cabin only had a small chair and not the usual sofa. That was a problem. We also had a grand suite that connected to a balcony cabin and nothing was heard and no furniture was affected.
I would avoid it more because of the furniture than the noise.

Good thing she wasn't on the railing of her cabin balcony when she decided to try that.

I booked a GS yesterday for early December, 2016 and was considering switching to a CL but saw the price jumped quite a bit so will wait and see what happens. Glad I booked yesterday!

We really enjoyed it. Having seen the Broadway version from less than ideal seats and only the first half, this time we came expecting to feel the same and had very low expectations. We ended up with wonderful seats, already knew the music, the story line and had a much better appreciation for the show. The cast is top notch and we actually made it through the entire production. Very glad we went and stayed. Not sure if we will take in the whole show again in November though.

I bought this LV bag in Paris a few years ago. I rarely use it. I wanted everyone to have a chance to get it. Please DO NOT email me. Please post it here, in a day or two I will write all your user name on a piece of a paper and draw it.
I too would love to be in the drawing. I hope its not too late.
Thank you.

The post before mine pretty much answered my question before I could see it. Since I will be one of those rushing off the ship to my cabana, I wondered how soon after the ship arrived did they begin letting people off.

Have a fun and illness-free cruise.

Yes, breakfast is served in Coastal Kitchen on debarkation day.
The concierge will have 2 or 3 times that you may choose from to debark. They take everyone in the group off the ship and bypass the normal line.
