P.S.  when you make a posting like this giving no dates, no ship, or any other relevant information it’s often ignored.

Sorry Oceania Vista. May 1 Miami to London. London to London

  2. For those who are doing adjacent cruises on the transition day?  (end of first cruise; beginning of second). I will be staying aboard the two cruises for the whole 33 days and would love to see London from Southampton port. Thanks in advance.

Have you look how many excursion you need to get a 25% across the board discount.  In some cases, with the 25% discount, it's cheaper than just adding just one.

I have a 1200.00 sm excursion credit. I have booked some excursions but would need to book 7 more to be entitled to the 25 percent discount. I am doing all the excursions I want to do so obviously would need to spend a lot more money to qualify for25 percent discount. Would actually lose money doing this. Makes no sense

Is your May 1 2025 the transatlantic Miami to London via Lisbon (leg 2 Lisbon to London?  If so I was able to book excursions AM May 1 with no problems.

We take back to back cruises all of the time-- When we booked our last cruises in January, I asked the same question to the "future cruise consultant" and the destinations desk.  The woman at the desk went back to the head of destinations with no answer.  It was so new at the time that they had not encountered that question yet.

-- we currently have a bookings for this fall  that are 3 consecutive ("back to back") cruises, each with their own booking number and deposits.  These were also available as a a single cruise in different combinations of the three.  My invoice states back to back savings applied -- Perhaps the OP has the same experience of back to back cruises --  I also have the same question.  With all the reports of canceled port stops and shore excursions canceled -- would love to hear from an actual report than speculation.   It is possible to prebook excursions a year out -- but once on board they typically do not let anyone book for the next cruise until the current cruise is over.

Does this mean you cannot book excursions for your second cruise of the back to back a year ahead as you are doing with the first?  Since it is a separate booking number and considered an entity unto itself this doesn’t seem to make sense if I am understanding this correctly

  6. I am doing two back to back cruises next May. Two separate bookings with second booking a guarantee. Will I be able to have  Vista customer service hold my luggage while I do an excursion on my check on day for my guarantee or will I have to spend that first day going through all the check in procedures for a second time?  Thanks in advance. I have never done a back to back before much less one complicated by having a guarantee. I am still a year out and am hoping to rectify this situation

We always book them 365 days out.  We call Oceania direct.  The website has too many problems in this area.

If you call can you do it right after midnight EST or do you have to wait for business hours?  I am guessing the latter.

  8. Have many of you booked your excursions this far ahead?  Do they sell out that quickly?  If you do book a year out do you call first thing in the AM?  Thanks for any input on what has worked best for you. I will be a newbie on Oceania in May 2025. Other cruise lines I have been on handle their excursion bookings in different ways.
