Hello,
if you take the stairs, ask for the far most table for diner on deck 5, eat at the buffet at outside rush hours, enter the theater after the beginning of the show and seat on upper deck further in the front where there is not a lot of people, don't attend to the social activities, find a lounge chair somewhere else than the pool deck…. You will be able to apply social distanciation.
That's what we did, and we masked at all time except outside, and eating and drinking, and….. we still got COVID on Eclipse. 🤧
Have a great day
That’s not what I wanted to hear….I guess I will just make sure I pack meds and hope for the best. I know I have antibodies so I shouldn’t get deathly ill but I do hate getting sick.

Going on a cruise in 3 weeks,, my fist post CoVid ,while I use common sense was wondering how easy it is to social distance and spend time outdoors. Would love to hear from some who had cruised recently. thanks

So this brings up a question I have been trying to find the answer to. I am traveling as a guest with my brother who has the cruise comped, and I cannot determine if always included means ALL I may have to upgrade to the classic drink package if it is not included because I like my coffees. If anyone can provide insight I would appreciate it. Never been on a comped cruise before.

To redtravel:
I just read on these boards that I think it was NCL negotiated that the negative Covid test used to board would be sufficient for the Bermuda requirement, maybe Celebrity is working out the same deal. I believe I will be on the same cruise as you,

Just do your due diligence before booking. Every port and every ship has the right to impose their fees.

room and snacks provided as well as about 10 senior personnel
however as co Ordinator of meet and greet on several there has been 2 occasions where NCL have changed venue and time-when they bring it forward almost impossible to communicate with roll callers!
That's why its a good idea to get cabin numbers in advance...

I bought a few boxes of cute blank cards from Xmas tree shops to write the invitations and other stuff.......I like attending the meet and greets, and I don’t mind the work to organize....
I just asked a simple question because NCL didn’t give me an answer.

I was told that they take bids on sold out cabins in case someone cancels...so they can fill them easily.

My DD has HFA she has been on about 5 cruises various lines but 2 NCL since birth she is now 14. I just let the kids club know if they have an issue to call me and I listen to her if she wants to leave/ not participate in certain activities. If I see her getting anxious we usually return to the cabin for some quiet time but overall it has been fine for her and us.

I heard the ended them too- I am still organizing the meet and greet because I believe it is a nice thing to meet fellow cruisers. It’s always a bad few that spoil it for all.

If you can, please post the dailies for the cruise portion.
Ditto on this - as I am doing the same sailing in a month from now

Ours is actually at 3pm on the first Sea Day......

Thank you for the responses. I do have an email set up and I posted the time and venue in our Roll Call. I just think an invitation is a nice touch so I will comprise my own. I don’t mind running around the ship on the first day. It helps me learn the ship

I am in charge of our sailings M&G. i reached out to my contact but as of now still have not had a response. I need to know if I should pick up invitations to leave on the cabin doors or if NCL provides.
Sailing on the Jewel- any insight will be appreciated
Thank you in advance

It seems that with all the new large mega ships ncl has this issue. We sailed the breakaway when it was new and had problem with the timing of the ropes course and rock wall. I no longer will sail a larger new ship because of that and am sailing the jewel to Alaska instead of the bliss

Good morning fellow cruisers! DH and I are new to NCL, doing the majority of our sailings on Celebrity. I have been scouring the CC NCL threads for tips and reviews and I have noticed an unpleasant theme. Many people comment on the service and food, especially in the MDR as being mediocre to poor. While I am aware of differences in opinions, I cannot help but be worried as food and service is high on my list of cruise priorities. Surely NCL would not continue to be able to build multi million dollar products without some redeeming qualities. And please don't tell me to go back to Celebrity. I am not bashing the NCL product...my next 2 cruises our in Jewel and Bliss...I am just a bit perplexed as to how so many have poor experiences with dining. Perhaps they are the only vocal ones?

I cruised celebrity last summer and a received a piece of a broken porcelain plate in my food......so things happen and I was not happy with the resolution of that potentially dangerous issue, that being said the rest of the food was fine and I feel NCL food is of the same quality with just a little less presentation. I will no longer cruise Celebrity though because of that experience.
