Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Thanks. I will be sure to mention both of them by name.
  2. We've had wonderful service from our waitstaff and plan on leaving them a tip beyond the standard one rccl charfes. Is there a way to do this online or do we give them cash on the last night? Thanks,
  3. We have lunch reservations at Giovanni's. Are nice shorts and a Polo shirt appropriate for my husband? I mean, I see people in the mdr wearing cutoffs, ratty tshirts, and a ball cap, or workout clothing even on "formal" night, so it seems dress codes have gone by the wayside. That said, we'd like to not stand out by being underdressed. TIA
  4. Thanks. Somehow we didn't realize that. They were closed tonight, but we'll try to get there before 10 another time.
  5. I guess that's what we'll do. I'm disappointed.
  6. That's what I was thinking of. But then again, we'd be paying extra for that. We're not experienced cruisers, but our previous cruise had an abundance of food options at night.
  7. Are we missing something? We're on Vision of the Seas en route to Bermuda. Tonight after the fabulous magic show, so around 10pm, we wanted a snack without paying an extra fee. The only thing we found was the Park Cafe. It had very limited options and the line was long. We managed to get some fruit and a cookie. They only had decaf coffee, and ice for water was in short supply. By the time we left the line was nearly to the door. Those people would be waiting at least 40 minutes. Are there any other options? Or are we left with either paying the $7.95 delivery fee for room service or seeing what's at Starbucks? Thanks
  8. We aren't party people; we don't want to play trivia or sing karaoke. Most evenings we'd like to sit and chat or drink coffee and read a book. We don't have a balcony cabin this cruise, but are there other places to relax that are relatively peaceful? Thanks, Lisa
  9. We're planning to take a cruise next summer. In general, is better to book through the cruise line (Royal Caribbean) or a third party booking site? Thanks, Lisa
