I see they have deluxe beverage packages combined with voom offered in cruise planner at a discount. I am wondering if they ever offer a voom one device combined with refreshement package? Asking for grandeur in june. thanks

bottles of wine, internet minutes,specialty dining dinners.........gave these kind of prizes years ago on enchantment, but I am sure things have changed!

Just want to comment about how compensation for "uncomfortable circumstances" has gone downhill.In 2006 I got the norovirus on grandeur 7 day cruise. It was not any sort of epidemic, I am not aware of others who were affected. I went to medical,they gave me a shot, and  I was quarantined for 48 hours. Had unlimited room service and cabin movies. My husband had to check in with medical following few days to make sure he was ok. Young kids were in connecting cabin.  A few days after we got home, we each received a future cruise credit of $400.  I was the only one who got sick.  We asked for nothing. 

Fast forward to 2017.  Jewel of the seas Med cruise.  Black water coming out of our sink.  They told me it wasn't anything to worry about.  I said what to do if we get sick.  They told me to go to medical if I was worried.  I said why should I go if I am well? (just to pick up some disease??).  They kept telling me to go to medical so I would leave guest services!  We used bottled water for the rest of our trip.

Just want to get to diamond with RC and then I will cruise celebrity. 

Agree. May consider staying overnight

sounds like the Washington traffic is similar to ours, with unexpected road closures all over the place,detours,etc.

thank you all for the honest opinions! I am cancelling this option. Forgot to mention, we are Canadian,so we have to be at airport a lot earlier than if flying domestically!  Would it be realistic to rent a car, drive to DC, keep luggage in car, see a few sights and then give car back at Reagan airport?  Would have to return car by 2 pm for the 4 pm flight.

We are considering this as well since have never been to Washington. Or there is also a later  flight from Washington but what to do with luggage? We are flying to Canada so can’t use the service from ship where they send your luggage

That good old law! We would fly on points and don’t have enough for Baltimore. Also the Baltimore flight is late afternoon. 

This would be in June coming off grandeur. Would carry luggage off. What is traffic like on a Saturday morning to get to Reagan? We would take Uber. I know Baltimore airport is closer but only direct flight is late in day

Jumbo it is not Baltimore airport. It is Washington Ronald Reagan airport. Airport code dca. I think it is almost an hour away. Just wondering what traffic is like. Our other alternative is a four pm from Baltimore airport code bwi. But then we are stuck in airport for hours. Plus we are trying to fly on points and Washington is less points. Don’t have enough for baltimore

We will be on grandeur in June. Docks seven am. If we carry off luggage can we make the 11 15 flight?  What is traffic like Saturday mornings going to airport? 

yes ,definitely wait!! it is the same thing as the "surf" package on RC, as opposed to surf and stream. On RC you can buy it before, on celebrity you can't.  I hope they will change this at some point, they are making millions with people buying the higher package who don't need it!

Called credit card co but only covered for theft/loss.  We got a response from customer service at 1-888-royalmp (not sure what it stands for but it is from cruise co) with a claim no and they are contacting little Switzerland. Stay tuned!
