Arches and Zion may both require reservations or permits of one sort or another in advance during your visit so check those things before showing up.

Have you tried “just” a birth certificate as an adult?

I know Hawaii is pushing hard to remind everyone that they need to get a Real ID before May 2025 to get off the island.  (In case of an emergency and need to fly out of Hawaii.)

While I was searching, I ran across another article that states that a Hawaii Driver’s License isn’t valid in Florida.  Something about their new immigration law.  (In case you are cruising out of Florida.)

Yes, I am a supporter of getting a passport.  My grandkids just got theirs.

    Our children are adults.

Please keep in mind that those checking you in ARE NOT Princess employees.  What Princess allows (drivers license AND certified birth certificate may not be what the Port Agents want/know.

Very important…you have to be born in the US with a US certified birth certificate.

Our children have cruised with a US Certificate of Birth Abroad with absolutely no issues to Alaska and Hawaii and Mexico.

It all depends on the year. I find the SA cruises are the most variable of what Princess offers. For example this year there is a 52 day LA to FLL that will do Antarctica. But i dont believe tjere is a similar cruise in 2025.

The Majestic is doing a repositioning cruise around Cape Horn, it does not venture into Antarctica.    Sapphire is the only Princess ship doing Antarctica at the beginning of the season.

  5. We have run into shortage of washcloths several times over

many years.   Major issue is stains that cannot be removed during normal washing therefore removed from inventory.  Please use make up removers before using washcloths.

  6. Obviously gremlins in the web site.  Booked for the 10/15.   The spp shows an entirely different {Portland to Southampton).  Credit card has been charged.  Do not hold much hope.   On the other hand Barcelona to Fll pricing looks good.

Another data point: I sail on a 10 day cruise in two days and I am elite.  My app is giving me $249.90 for single device, full cruise, and $449.90 for 4 devices.   I'm not sure why it's $45/day instead of $40 as others claim on this thread.  These must be pre-elite-discount prices so I'll be paying roughly $22.50/day for 4 devices which is $5.62/day/device which is fine.  We'll share the 4 devices among 4 individuals.   I usually purchase on board first day - if my discount is cabin credit that's fine - all comes out in the wash.

So is it $40 or $45/day?

Is your status correct on the app.  Mine is not so I get the inflated pricing.  DH is correct and shows discounted price.

Thank you. I have heard that even if you share you are charged for 2. This is our 6th cruise but haven't cruised in almost 20 years. This cruise for us is about the scenery, wildlife, experience, etc and we agreed the dining, particularly the MDR wasn't important to us. But I have no problem with asking about sharing at the time.

We have only utilized Vines with using alacarte not the casual dining credits and have been charged appropriately.

  9. Photo of our Charcuterie Board on the Sky last year, first cruise after the change..  We have been on several cruises since and the board has included additional breads which were lacking on the original.  For us, this is a meal. Definitely shareable.   Truffles are to die for with a great full body red.
You can also order alacarte.   Truffles, $3 for 6 pieces with after dinner red.

  10. I may be wrong, you booked the Plus package when Casual Dining (Alfredos) was free.    We sailed August 2023 with the $50 package we booked in May and the Casual Dining was not included.   We had the option on upgrading to the new Plus package for an additional $10pp per day.   We chose not to just paid alacarte.

Stateroom number E632.  I really doubt it was a wine bottle as it was deafening.  But you never know.

And let me clarify JimmyVWine-- we do not want future cruise credits.  That makes us spend another few thousand dollars to save $1000.  No thanks.  We want our money refunded.

We were in E414 with a lot of noise.   An obvious issue with this stateroom as there were shims around the door frame and molding.    A great stateroom that we would book again as for an obstructed view there was no obstruction.

Sorry you had issues but I would not book so far aft on lower decks.

Your Travel Summary will indicate the meeting points and time for the transfer to Southampton, usually around 10:30am.   You check in with the reps, they give you a ticket or sticker indicating which bus to board.   There are seats available while waiting for your group to board.   All very controlled.  Our transfer was a little delayed due to the buses coming from Southampton arriving late because of traffic.

This is a copy of the info in our Travel Summary from September 2023.  The transfer took well over 2 hours due to traffic.

What purpose does having past cruises show up on the App serve?  Is this the only way for IT to correct loyalty that is showing up as incorrect?  Seems like a waste of memory on the App servers.

For some of us who need to track travels it is  a major step forward showing the complete itinerary.   Also seeing cabins we have been in previously takes the guess work out of future bookings.   Loyalty level in the app is nothing.   Ours have been wrong for a couple of years, correct for the launch of the new App and has now reverted to new guest.  The only thing to be concerned about is your Captain Circle account reflecting correct status.
