I used Transbridge from Clinton NJ, though there were some buses that would take you to the pier we found the time was to late for us. So we went to the Port Authority Bus Terminal and took a taxi from there. The bus ride was nice and relaxing and offered free wifi, the Port Authority terminal was a little confusing though and you will stand out as a tourist in NYC with your luggage. On our next cruise we took the ferry from Port Imperial and found this to be much nicer. You can park there for considerably less or just have someone drop you off. After a short ferry ride it is about a ten minute walk on flat level ground in a safe area to the ship. If interested search for NY waterways. Hope that helps.

I don't have a good driver for you but we found it more economical, very easy, and totally safe, to drive to the Port Imperial Ferry Terminal in Weehawken NJ and Park there and ferry across. It is about a 10-15 minute walk after the ferry drops you off but I believe they have a bus that will also transport you or of course a NYC taxi is easy, We walked and found it easy.

Well if you're on a cruise with 4 ports sometimes you and your wallet need a little break. Mahogany beach is very enjoyable and easy. but next time I will take the excursion break in Belize.

Rent a car in Port Canaveral, there is a location right where the visiting cruise ships dock. Take a coastal drive and wonder around very refreshing.
