Hello my fellow cruisers,
I am booked on the August 26 sailing of Magic out of Port Canaveral. I have looked for FTTF every day for the past 3 months. Finally TODAY I found limited availability so I snatched it up.
The bottom line is don't give up, keep looking!

We always try to schedule our cruises for October. The fares are less expensive, and fewer kids because they are in school. The temperatures are still quite hot and we have enjoyed warm waters ( around 85*). The downside is that it is still hurricane season and you take the chance of having one during your cruise. Of the 15 cruises we have taken the only problems we've had is rough seas for the last 2 days for hurricane Sandy, and another time we had to reverse our itinerary to avoid a hurricane.

Not that I'm aware of. You will just have to keep checking to see if it comes available. Good luck

The ship usually departs Curaçao at 4 or 5pm so it's too early for a sunset cruise

Does Port Canaveral have staggered check-in times?
I wasn't able to book a check-in time for my cruise in August on the Magic. My cruise is paid in full.
Thanks

I know that it's hard to predict but does anyone know if they will open up any more FTTF for the August 27 2017 sailing?

I think FTTF is now open for 2016. I just booked mine for a October 23, 2016 cruise on the Dream.

If it's not too much trouble would you please email me the fun times?
Thank you, Jim

I recommend booking the Stingray City tour with Moby Dick. I've used them 3 times and each trip has been fantastic! Great personalized service, a great price and smaller number of people.
Look them up on the web.

In order to take advantage of the reduced deposit and the OBC, I placed an open booking. How long will I have before I have to pick my cruise? I want to book a cruise for October 2016 but it's too far out to do so.

Try Moby Dick's for the Stringray City tour. They are the best!

Not me. I'm a 'balcoholic'.... got to have a balcony.

Our first cruise was an inside cabin. It was nice because we had 5 different ports in 7 days, not a lot of time in the cabin. Then we went on a cruise that had 3 sea days and we had a balcony.
Now every cruise we go on we get a balcony. Its so nice to be out there to enjoy the sea. We have our breakfast on the balcony every morning.
I say go for it.

I highly recommend Mr. Sanchos. We had such a great time there last year, that we have booked it again for this October.

I have never been on this ship so I will rely upon all of you Cruise Critic Carnival experts.
Which deck should I choose and why? Now I realize that these comments will be totally subjective, but I need your opinions.
This is for my wife and myself. I'm 62 and she is younger than me:D
Thanks

I plan on booking a cruise in a week or so for October 2015 on Valor and I was wondering when can I book FTTF?
Thanks for the help

Our favorite excursion in Cozumel is Mr. Sanchos Beach Resort. It's all inclusive, all you can eat and drink for $50/per adult. The swim up bar/pool is fantastic!
Here's the link to see more about them: http://www.mrsanchos.com
And here's where you go to book your reservation:

Grand Cayman to remain closed to at least September 1,2020
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Grand Cayman originally had a reopen date of May 31 but Tourism Minister Moses Kirkconnell said that the island will now remain closed to tourists until at least September 1, 2020.
Several cruise lines, including Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Disney Cruise Line, all currently have cruises in August with a port stop in Grand Cayman. Despite Grand Cayman being on many cruise itineraries, Kirkconnell said that cruise ships will not be allowed to visit that month.
Government officials said that although the port will not be open to cruise lines until September 1, there’s no guarantee that the port will reopen then. A timeline for reopening will be reviewed at a later date.
Kirkconnell added that he doesn’t think cruise ships will be able to visit Grand Cayman in the third and fourth quarter.
The government is currently in the process of putting together a plan for the reopening of tourism on the island.
I’m sure that Carnival will be making arrangements to find another suitable port stop.
