  1.:mad:yuck! Thats the worst item! They bread them! Bone in wings are not supposed to be breaded. Was so disappoined the first time we ordered these after everyone talking up the wings on here.

Who says they’re not supposed to be breaded?

  2. LOL You made me laugh. I wish I could bring everybody that wanted to go! I think cruising is awesome and now that I'm single, it makes travelling alone a little less scary. ;)

Lol I wish you could bring everyone too especially if it included me! [emoji854]! My sister had a solo room in the solo area on our last cruise and they had a meet up many nights during the cruise! If you can do it than you should!

  3. Same could be said about the freebie packages NCL throws at everyone. Your fare could be lower without them.

Very nice to be on Viking with 200 people. Not taking 2 hours to get on and off a ship.

I don’t think Viking can ever compare to NCL. Yet I’ve never spent 2 hour (nor an hour at most) to get off a ship in NYC which is what I’ve cruised.

  4. Have only cruised on NCL so I can’t compare but I will say I’m not rich and I’ve been able to cruise NCL! It gets more expensive if you bring kids! The kids club is great I have to say when we brought ours. The younger one always wanted to go!

Food or subjective but it’s also been hit or miss for us as well. Have not encountered long waits for breakfast at the sit down restaurants but they can tend to be slow...and more leisurely. Dinner the lines can be a bit long but have never waited more than 15ish minutes for a table that I remember.

  5. Stay away from the “drink of the day” unless they are making them fresh. Many of them they have premixed in big containers behind the bars and do not taste as good when made to order! Just my opinion!

  6. If you go in the summer time be prepared for large crowds. The pool deck was poorly designed IMO! It is too closed off into sections. The concept of freestyle is not a reality on the larger NCL ships it takes planning and prebooking unless you don't care where or when you eat (I guess that technically is freestyle). I've sailed on breakaway numerous times and would again it's just jarring for those who go on not being aware what they are in for.

  7. When we did the free laundry I was pleasantly surprised how they sent our laundry back folded beautifully wrapped up in a basket! We were able to fit so much into that bag! The bag ripped on us so our room steward put it into a clear plastic bag it was about a day before it was returned. No complaints. Although didn't realize we'd still have to completely fill out the form so it took a bit longer because he couldn't take it until it was completely filled out [emoji854]

  8. The GODS honest truth is NCL does not in any way gives a crap about their cruisers that they do not cut off those who seem overly intoxicated. They will keep serving you if you do not create a problem for them. It is not like going to a bar inland. I've been a spectator to this. NCL is lucky they don't have internet posts of cruisers going overboard like some other lines do.

  9. They give people alcohol for free (minus the gratuities) and people say they nickel and dime you on water... seriously? They have to make money somewhere. Get over it. Goto any bar and ask for a glass of ice water and you will receive it free of charge. Bring your own cup and ask them to fill it and they will or fill up in the Buffett.

  10. Well in my home city I'm now supposed to drink the Tap water because it is contaminated but I will drink it anyway if I'm in the need of water....I have a water dispenser in my home and buy the big gallon jugs to go on top of it. On the ship I stay hydrated in beer and liquor and at night before bed I drink water from the tap to try to steer away a hangover. My husband likes to bring a cup and fill it up.

I just wanted everyone to know my water habits since everyone and their mother was posting theirs... not that anyone really cares.
