  1. @Turtles06 following this thread, I am in the same boat as you (no pun intended) we dock at noon. Sapphire is one of my favorite spot in the Caribbean's, super chill spot. I am not a big fan of laying on a towel either like at Magen's. What are my other options? We could stay on the ship but kinda want to get out a bit...

  2. Sorry to thread jack guys but I haven't flown to the US since 2020, we are heading out to FLL in a few weeks with Wesjet. What is considered a valid document for vaccination? I have the copies from my pharmacy but that's it for now, is that enough? I have a friend that cruised in December and she told me that at no point did she ever show proof of vaccination...pardon my ignorance, TIA!

  3. We are also in the same situation, booked an early February cruise in 2022, we are fully vaxxed, we have put a deposit on the cruise but have paid the flights in full (non-refundable). The ship docks early in the morning and we fly out at 2pm on the same day, does anyone have an idea how we are going to be able to pull this off? does Celebrity offer testing onboard??

  4. Hey guys, we plan on sailing next February on the Reflection, this will be our 5th sailing with Celebrity. During my research through TA's and different websites i couldn't help but notice that it doesn't seem like they offer OBC's anymore, rather SEC's now....I love OBC because we use if for specialty dining and the casino, we almost never book excursions through Celebrity...

Thanks in advance and sorry if this question has been asked already, I have been out of the loop for a while!

  5. I am the same as you and booked the Comfort Inn Airport/Cruise Port South, seems decent, free shuttle from the airport and to the Port, I will give Priceline a shot the week before my departure but this is safe way to go for us right now!

I tried to sift through the amazing amount of information in this thread and did not get very far.

What the best option for someone arriving late night the night before departure to get to a hotel and then from the hotel to the cruise port. Is there a reasonably priced hotel that will provide both? We're flying into FLL and departing on the Liberty of the Seas on March 25, 2013. It is our honeymoon trip! :)

  6. Thanks for your help, i am also cruising next March and I have also booked this hotel, did you find a spot for alcohol near by?

Booked this hotel for March as it was reasonably priced and has an airport and cruise port shuttle. The reviews are somewhat mixed but seems to be good. Has anyone stayed here lately?

I see that the Oakwood Mall is about a 10 minute walk with a Kmart, Ross, Marshall and Big Lots. However, I cannot tell if there is anywhere closeby where I can purchase soft drinks and wine. Can anyone tell me if there is anything within walking distance.

Lastly, we will be there the day before so we are looking for somewhere to eat. I see there is an Ale house and a 50s diner in the mall. Any opinions on these are is there something better in the area to walk to (we are not seafood eaters).

    Thanks for the help.

  7. Ok this one is a little unconventional...here it is.

I am 3 days before sailling therefore too close to buy a drink package (4 days prior max), but i went on the website and I bought one anyway even if there was warnings, my credit card has been charged and all...but in my reservation summary it still shows that i have 0 drink package purchased...anyone been in the same boat?

    thanks
