Woodwind was the best snorkeling experience we ever had! Such care and detail to making sure every person on the boat had just what they needed to get every minute of excellent snorkeling. Provided shirts, hoods, full wet suits, perscription masks, even a super photographer to take memorable pictures for a very reasonable price. The whole crew was fantastic. I hope to someday return to Bonaire just so I can snorkel with them again.

We are booked on the April 2020 Ovation of the Seas Transpacific. Sydney-Hawaii. prices are very good! So if 2019 does not work for you then jump on the ship with us :)

Now waiting for the Hawaii-Vancouver leg to open up ;)

So I am wondering- I as an American I purchased a cruise through Celebrity, transfer to a agent in the US. The Ship is a transpacific leaving Sydney, are my tips included in the cost or will I be charged each day for them?

I’m not sure if it’s every night or not. I know they are testing the new menu but I believe it is only a certain date. We will be checking it out and I’ll report back.

We just got off Reflection on the 13. The former Quzine is no more it was La Petite Chef very night. And don't pay full price for any specialty dining. everyday near the ocean view they offered 50% off most venues. They will always say last chance, but the next morning the chance came again and again..:)

We are just back from a cruise on Azamara, and on the sheet providing departure info, they put out a reminder that they now notify U.S. Customs of any purchases in the ship's shops of more than $800.

 

Based on a recent experience, we believe Celebrity also does this -- even though a shipboard employee denied it. So if you buy any jewelry in the shops on board the ships sailing out of Miami or Port Everglades, you want to be sure to declare it on a U.S. Customs form.

Celebrity does do this, just be honest about what your purchases are and pay the tax and you won't be visiting the naughty room manned by customs.

Do you have to pay for wi-fi to use the celebrity app or is it like airlines where they let you access their app for free on wi-fi

The charge to use the app was about $7 a day and no need to have the extra cost of wifi. As long as u we're on the ship u could use it. For texting other pass who also had the app, accessing your calendar, making reservations.

too bad the app is not like RCI's app, was so nice to be able to keep in contact with family and friends on the ship with us. And it was about $7 a day, we used it alot. The X app is a total waste

We will be sailing on the 11 nt Reflection April 2 and today I got a 20% offer for unlimited internet. $240. My husband really wants to have internet access anytime he wants it. Now we are both Elite and will get 90 min each in free min, if I wait till we cruise how much credit would this equal to? is the $240 a better deal. I know we can only apply one of the 90 min toward a package.

I would prefer to just use the 90 min each and try to not use so much screen time, save that $ for a couple nice meals or a tour.

We will visit next month on Celebrity Reflection, No doubt there will be some shopping involved. Do we need currency or will $$ and our CC do? Also want to buy some local coffee for a friend, can we find a grocery in old town without overpaying for it?

We upgraded our package on the Celebrity website through our cruise planner. $11.80 a day, we like to have everything paid for ahead of time and just relax when we get on the ship.

So how much difference are we talking, I am thinking 3-4 a day. Don't get why Baileys is prem,it's $22 for a whole bottle :(

We stayed at this hotel 2 times, first time was great no issues at all. 2nd time last April it was just OK front desk people were very rude. we got there around 130 so they 'stored' or luggage in a very unsecured area, the hotel laundry room, yes door was locked but people were in and out all the time..

we got some lunch and got back to our rooms. they were very clean but for an extended stay there was not one item in the kitchen. We had to go beg for a coffee maker, spoons and cups. There is no icemaker in the hotel for public use. Breakfast consists of granola bars and prepackaged muffins and coffee/tea.

The plus side of this place is location, location! short walk to the port, plenty of resturants and grocery stores very short walk.

I would'nt pay too much for this place and you can sometimes get a better price at extendedstaydotcom.

We got hooked on this also, I had at least 5 emails from Celebrity telling me not to miss out on the 20% discount. Now dispite site problems in the past we were able to get right on and did book the tours we wanted, honestly we would have booked the tours anyway. But it would have been nice to get the discount ;)

I purchased a product called GermFree24 from Amazon. It is a foam product, smells fine and does not sting and dry/chap my hands. One application works 24 hrs does not wash off with regular handwashing. I work in a grocery store and you can imagine the germs I come into contact with ;)

Have you been able to book anything on the website ? Having your reservation unlocked might not matter ;)

I gave up and booked private excursions and will look at dining packages on board.

we booked our tours 2 weeks ago on the the Celebrity website and used our onboard credits to boot. Glad to have it all done!

Wonderful review, we have yet to take a TA. We will sail Reflection in April so will decide then which TA to take for 2019 to get the onboard perks.

did you pay for the alla tours with a credit card or did you have to use cash and also what was the aprox cost for the tours for the 2 days, did it include the entry fees for all the places you visited? I never considered this cruise untill I saw your photos and read the review!
