I'm going on this cruise too!!! :D
My edocs say you have to turn up at a specific time for whatever deck your are on. As I'm on deck 2, I apparently have to board at 2:00pm.
Can I ignore this? I think my hotel kicks me out at 11.00
-
They should call it bistro on 7 now :D
-
I have just been sent a 3rd version of my cruise contract.
When looking through it to decide why, I noticed that I was down as:
A) Mr instead of Mrs
B) there was a spelling error in my surname
I phoned Celebrity to ask them to change this, but heard a recorded message to say that the office hours are Mon-Fri 9-5.30pm
Since when- more cut backs?
I have gone on-line, to Online check in and made the necessary changes.
Is this sufficient, or should I still telephone tomorrow?
Hi
UK call centre has had no changes to opening hours. Still 8:30AM - 20:00PM
Did you call the correct number? Due to the seperation of Celebrity - Royal/Azamara in the UK, a lot of numbers have changed.
-
I wondered if the RCI reps didn't understand the OP's "drawl".
Probably didnt to be honest. Whenever I go to America no one ever seems to understand my British accent lol. So Guatemalans may struggle to understand us just as much as we might struggle to understand them
-
Sorry to hear of your bad experience calling the new call centre :(
So annoying when companies outsource their call centres!
As far as I am aware, the US office cant deal with UK booking unless you really, really escalate it. You could always try emailing: customerserviceuk@rccl.com

Ive done over 50 cruises and have never been treated like this. I have screen shots of the correct pricing but there is not even a UK email address for Crown @Anchor now is there?
Probably answered by someone in Guatemala though! Good Luck

There has been a lot of disruption in the UK Celebrity office recently. Most of the 084..... numbrs have changed. Many I have used in the past no longer work. I spoke to our PCS a week ago on Saturday [just before the start of the boat race] and they were in the process at that time of routing the phone lines to Guatamala [sp?] - presumable those for Royal Caribbean and Azamara and the parts of Celebrity going offshore. Our PCS [who has worked there sine the office was openned - and possibly others as well] is leaving at the end of next week. Much disruption and much unhappiness. I think the UK office will be left with inexperienced staff.
Because he is leaving, our PCS was on leave when the 2015/16 Caribbean cruises were release and he passed our details to a colleague so that he could contact us as soon as the itineraries were openned. The name seemed as though it may have been South American but I thought nothing of it until we were not contacted. I knew from Cruise Critic that the cruises had been released. I rang the main number and booked our cruise. So I was happy. Then, I got up the next day to an email from the guy who was supposed to be looking after us. It said that he was now in work but could see that we had already booked. The email was sent late in the day UK time but probably morning in South America. I had understood that Celebrity was not being moved to the call centre in South America - just Royal Caribbean and Azamara. Is it possible that this is not so?
Having said that, it has always been par for the course that the UK office is not informed about what is happening. I think that, at present, many are probably not as inclined as they once would have been to find out for you. Not sure that I have been much help to you but, at least, I have been able to have my rant!
Celebrity Cruises UK team are still in the UK and they are moving from Addlestone to Weybridge.
Their staff consists of staff members from the previous tri-branded set up.
Unfortunately some of them are being made redundant such as your personal cruise specialist.

The only time I found it to be crowded was just after the muster drill, and just after shows in the theatre(s) when everyones charging in the same direction.
Ship is huuuge so many spaces to spread out in
-
 Could someone please post links to or a fairly recent cruise compass, we will be on board soon. Thanks
She's doing Bermuda itineraries at the moment so hopefully someone will post one soon! I also would like to see these as sailing in June :)
-
its cheap as well!! I think it was like 15 euros per person for the fast train.
-
Where did you get that RCCL customer services is based in Guatemala from ?? RCCL UK are based in Weybridge Surrey
The UK call centre for Royal Caribbean and Azamara has moved to Guatemala.
Celebrity is still in the weybridge office.
UK does not have any sorts of price match promise like the US. But sometimes they can do it, sometime they can not.
Depends on the terms of whatever promotion is going on at the time really

Wikipedia mentions Jamie Oliver's.. Is this on the PDF !??

We are also looking at a British Island cruise in 2015.
According to the rumors and previews the Silhouette is slated for British Island cruise. (The ship is booked in overnight in Edinburgh)
I believe the itineraries will be released early March.
Yes, she will sail from Amsterdam in 2015 and do British Isles
-
Is it true that concierge class gets a five dollar cover charge to Blu as a perk? I read that somewhere.
Yes, as long as there is availability in the restaurant.
-
I must be the most undiscerning person ever. I enjoy the food and service at the main dining room, the ships are awesome, I'm good with the smoking policy, I like the itineraries, don't mind paying extra for specialty dinning or extra service ect..... and pens & paper....really. And please don't take this wrong but I don't know how you fit four people in one of those cabins. "
AMEN!! I agree

Hi Everyone,
Have you all seen the thread below? Since Celebrity elected not to make an extensive dry dock for Century, it makes sense that they are actually going to sell her in 2015.

Bob
Yes, I had heard she will spend summer 2015 in Europe and then adios!!
-
Thanks for this.
I assume no independence out of Southampton this year?
No, Indy is going back to the states :(
Im actually excited more about Adventures itineraries over Anthems!
-
So, looks like Explorer is the one that is going to Asia? wondering where Adventure is headed.
Adventure will still be in Southampton for summer 2015 along with Anthem
-
Already a thread about this..

Very Exciting!
-
BRILLIANCE seems to sail from Harwich. ;)
ANTHEM is expected to be deliverd in April, so I think there is no ship needed which "fills gaps".
it seems to be 100 % sure that ADVENTURE sails out of Southampton in 2015?
Because ANTHEM could replace INDEPENDENCE and LIBERTY could replace ADVENTURE...:D but I do not think that this gonna happen...
Either LIBERTY will operate on new Med itineraries or she will leave Europe, if the first possibility will not happen... we will see.
Yes, Adventue and Anthem are 100% based out of Southampton in Summer 2015.
Brilliance will be out of Harwich
Indy will be heading back to the U S of A

Definitely gotta get booked on this! But yes, anxious to see pricing
-
Yes, it is more or less official that ALLURE is scheduled for a seven night Med cruise out of Barcelona throughout the summer season 2015 (May - October).
Sadly the most beautiful port of the itinerary will disappear - Villefranche. :(
Does anyone have any information whether LIBERTY will stay in Europe or will she not return in 2015??
Would be a pity. :(
Its fair to say she wont be cruising out of Barcelona. I can imagine where she will be base if stays in Europe apart from Rome maybe?
I have a feeling we may loose her :(
-
Villefranche port schedule here which also covers Cannes.
It's showing, Legend, Indy, Adventure.
Hmmmm... Indy will not be in Europe 2015..
Cape liberty arrival and pick up times
in Royal Caribbean International
