Thank you both! I understand completely about the last minute cancellation/no show, I was just concerned if we changed our minds a month or so prior. We will be there in June and at this point my head is spinning with planning excursions :)

I understand that one must give a deposit, for each person in the party, with initial reservation. If you cancel, do they charge your credit card for the entire fee? From looking through their website, it would seem that they do however I wanted to double check. I sent them an email a few days ago and have not heard back from them.

We have been to Passion Island a few times and have always loved it until our last visit. My DH, DS and myself got very sick after our last visit and surmised that it was either the food or the ice/water. We couldn't leave our cabin and bathroom for the remaining portion of the cruise and we all had to go to the doctor when we arrived home and were given antibiotics. It's a beautiful place but not worth the risk for us to ever go there again. We will try something new when we go in June.

gdog, thanks so much for the pics! They look like they'd be fun! I'd love to know if folks that have been on this excursion have enjoyed it.

I recently noticed this available on the Royal Caribbean shore excursion website. I would love to find out more information also! It sounds like fun, but it would be nice to hear from someone that has actually done the excursion. Anyone?

I used Hotwire (had to be sure to get two beds rather than one, because there are three of us) and got the Intercontinental for $163 on 7/5/08. I'm very pleased with the rate we got. It is the only 4* in San Juan on Hotwire (for now, as it's subject to change), so if anyone wants the Intercontinental, using Hotwire is also a good idea.

How did you get to the port after staying there? I think it looks like a great place, I'm just concerned about how much it will cost for transportation from Miami airport and then to the port. We were going to stay at the Intercontinental, but this property looks like it offers so much more to do. I'd would be very grateful to anyone that could share transportation info.

We were wondering if there were many people on the Land & Sea to Soufriere, and the coastal cruise to the Pitons. I just don't like the excursions where there are so many people it feels as if one is being herded like cattle. Could anyone please share if these excursions were over crowded? Thank you!

I enjoy the planning so much, and I agree that it really helps curb the post cruise depression! I started planning July 2005 right before we left on our July 2004! I too check all the ports, and what to do way ahead of time. I also am a great list maker! :)
Caribbean Princess A751

We will be on our second Princess cruise in June, on the Caribbean Princess. Our first was on Emerald and the ship, fellow passengers, staff were wonderful :) I understand CB is older and has a few differences, but we are looking forward to it. I have searched for reviews on A751 but have not had much luck. Has anyone had this cabin and perhaps took some pictures of it? I would love to get information about this cabin.
