  1. Can anyone tell us about driving in Bermuda?  We will on Celebrity in April.  Can we use a US driver's license?  I understand foreigners cannot drive a standard type of car, but can drive one of their mini electric cars.  Is that true?  TIA

  2. We have never had a problem with strict boarding times either in FLL, Rome or South Hampton.  Perhaps if it gets very crowded they would enforce times more.  I do have 1 question: How many days before boarding can you check in?

  3. We also were on the April 2nd Apex and the day we disembarked I began to feel like I had a cold coming on.  The next day (fortunately home by then) I ran a high fever and tested positive.  My husband tested positive 3 days later.  We were in concierge on deck 11.  We used hand sanitizer, but didn't mask.

I think @judla is suckering us into taking these threads on a wild goose chase like the laundry thread....

I am so sorry about the confusion.  I was on the other line with my TA and was trying to figure out what was going on with my cruise.  What I was really trying to figure out what is included in the CALL.  Now it is a mute point so I am so sorry to bother all of you.

Magnifying make-up mirrors! And even better if they are lighted. Had one on our one and only HAL cruise and appreciated being able to see that my eyeliner wasn't where it didn't need to be!

Would also appreciate a "throw" to cuddle up with on the sofa or veranda. I usually request a pool blanket from our steward regardless of the itinerary, though they are available on the pool deck for cold weather cruises. The polar fleece blankets are larger than the old square woolen ones.

    Neither would break RCCL's bank!

Oh yes, a magnifying mirror would be great. I always have to bring my own and would love one on the wall in the bathroom.

Agree, my 3/26 Reflection cruise still has Cayman Islands on it. But I doubt we go as Cayman is really being unreasonable about the restart. About the only island now being so. Celebrity  will wait until the last minute I’m sure to change hoping for more clear thinking to prevail.

We are on the same cruise.

Hello everyone  my wife and I will be cruising on the Apex 26 March 2022. I did a port schedule for March and it shows Apex at Nassau on 27 March, no San Juan that's a sea day. St Thomas on 29 March and St Kitts on 30 March, 31 March and 1 April sea days. Just a heads up, there a problem now with San Juan. See you guys on the cruise.

We are on that same cruise. What a bummer, Nassau is our most disliked port.  Guess we will remain on the ship  I love Puerto Rico and was hoping to go back again  Hopefully there will not be a lot of ships in port.

  8. On the Edge in 2020 we had select seating and never made a reservation, just showed up.  I think if you know others and show up together they will seat you together, but that was pre Covid.  We always looked at the menu first then decided where to eat that night.  We were not given a "main dining room".

Judla, were you in a guarantee cabin? What deck was your first cabin on?

We were not in a guarantee cabin, picked it out ourselves,  Both are on deck 11.  They said we had to pack up everything but hanging clothes, then they would move us.  That is like packing again before we left our house, yikes!  My TA even went to reconciliations but they said the cabin i had paperwork for was given to someone else.  Nothing I can do.  Maybe we will sit in the Martini Bar while they move us

  10. We too, have a B2B on Apex.  My cruise booking papers had us in 2 different cabins, but they were next door to each other.  Well today I looked at the cruise planner on the Celebrity web site and they had a different cabin for our first leg.  It is on the same floor but on the other side of the ship.  I spent an hour trying to get it changed back to what I had at first, but they said they couldn't change it.  I am trying to look at it in a positive way, I am cruising!  It was bad enough to pack up everything and move it next door but now we have to move it from the opposite side and the view isn't as good as the first one.
