When you booked your cruise they should have e-mailed you a guest confirmation. It's multiple pages with all pertinent information. Look through the confirmation for a heading titled "Guest Notes" and it will indicate what fare type you booked with.

Looking at the Legend deckplans it shows a chapel on deck 3. Was that one of the locations they showed you?

I'm not entirely sure but it's also possible that since you booked with a reduced deposit of $50 that you may need to pay the full regular deposit amounts if you make the change when they don't have a special $50 dep. promo available.

I would also suggest that if you are a AAA or Costco member to check them out for rental prices. We've always found that their prices are pretty reasonable whenever we rent a vehicle.

Good for you about taking care of the permission to leave the country issue because that's what I was just about to mention as a possible issue. Glad that's all taken care of. :)

We've had 7449 and I remember a lounge chair and at least 1 other chair. Don't remember if there were the lounger and 2 chairs. One thing to keep in mind, is that only 2 of the 4 have couches in the cabins. 7449 did I know for sure.

I would say go with Anytime Dining as the group's choice. Then you can all go together or divide up some nights for however you want. If you pick set dining either early or late, that's your dining time and you can't just show up at anytime dining and ask for seating.

To verify my OBC, I usually go to my cruise docs on page 2 under invoice for a listing of my OBC.

Many times they won't let you book the cabin to begin with if you don't book it with full occupancy. For example, if it's a quad cabin they won't let you book it for only 2 or 3. Not always, but many times.

Because of the holds, it's highly recommended to use a Credit Card and not a debit card to avoid more funds than necessary being tied up until the holds fall off. Just something to consider for next time.

With anytime dining they will ask at the hostess desk whether you want to sit with just your party or with others. Just let them know you want to sit with just your party.

As someone else mentioned be sure to get insurance. My son-in-law's deployment got delayed because of the Syria situation and he and my daughter missed the cruise however because of insurance they were refunded 100 %. USAA's travel insurance covers military deployment changes so you may want to look into insurance through them. :)

It is wonderful but very rich. I always order it with 2 vanilla ice creams, or Mickey Mouse style, as it's sometimes called. You have to at least try it once. You won't regret it. :)

I don't care about Shrimp Cocktail but hubby does. What I want to see is the cold soups on the menu. :)

$50 richer.
Priceless. LOL

I wonder where it's at on the Breeze?
That's the fun part.. going on the scavenger hunt to find it. Try it, you'll like it. :D

I've never posted anything on a blog before but this subject caught my eye and I'll be sure to call the OPC before we cruise. Someone asked if you ever get anything from the Player's Club and I have to say yes. My husband and I both got the mailer with the $75 coupons plus last year we received an e-mail from the OPC with the offer of selecting between 1 of 5 free cruises, couple of 3 days, 5 days or a 7 day. Thought that was a pretty good offer so we took them up on the 7 day and had a great time. It was pretty last minute but we're retired and found airfare that wasn't outrageous so off we went.
Ok Florida peeps, I'm in a pickle-I switched cruises!!

I agree with the previous poster. Stay in FLL and take SAS. They'll pick up at some of the hotels, just check the list and make sure that Embassy Suites is one of them.
