  1. After planning and paying for a cruise, we have learned of an important family obligation that will occur on the last Saturday of our itinerary. We can no longer cancel for a refund, and trip insurance will not cover.

One solution is to disembark on day 5 in Cozumel and fly home. Is this allowed? We would not just leave the ship, and would obviously notify the cruise line and follow any rules and pay any fees if this is possible. Before I approach RCI, I just wondered if anyone has done this before and if so, how best to approach? Thanks!

    Korea

Greetings!  I am wondering if there are any cruises that embark from Korea?  I see some that stop there, but would love to find a 7 day cruise leaving from there... I can't find one, but surely they exist?

  2. My family is flying into London and then heading to Paris.  To finish our trip, we would love to catch a cruise from Le Harve to see more sites and relax on the ship.  We would be travelling this summer.  I cannot find a cruise that does this, but I'm sure I'm missing it.

I'm also wondering if there are any European cruise lines that have family suites that fit more than 4 passengers?

    Thank you so much!

  3. Thanks everyone.  I think VMax1700 has captured what I was thinking.  We are flying from US on 5/22 or 5/23, ideally embarking on 5/24 for 7 days.  We have some time after the cruise to sightsee in port city (whether that is Rome, Athens)

I think we (by we I mean my wife/kids) consider the "major sites" to be Rome, Athens, and Pisa.  Santorini and the coast of France (Cannes?) would be a big plus for my kids.

So basically, a 7 day cruise with a few days on either end for sightseeing.  We are really hoping for begin cruise on 5/24 for schedule purposes.

  4. Help! My family has 7 days and is trying to get to the "major sites" to visit in this short time... I'm thinking ideally a one-way cruise between Rome and Athens that stops in Santorini along the way.

Maybe it is not geographically possible in that short amount of time, or maybe I'm just not finding it, so just wanted to ask if I'm missing something?

If it doesn't exist, I appreciate it if anyone can point us in the right direction for an itinerary that touches on the "major sites" in the least time given 1) out limited time and 2) younger kids who will recognize the big sites.

    Thanks!
