  1.

I know it sounds like alot but drinking at a rate of a drink every 45m to hour from 10am untl midnight or after doesn't even leave me with much of a buzz.

I agree that wouldn't make me "drunk" but everyday for a week straight? That seems like a lot to me. I drink like that for a few days of my cruise and the rest of the time I only drink 3-4 per day. Personally, I'll be much better off just paying for drinks as I buy them, but hey I guess if you can drink like that for a week straight them go for it. :)

  2. I spoke with my PVP about this yesterday. You can match to the new promotion but you have to pay the difference for the base price. Then, if you price match later to another price or promotion, you will lose the OBC from this promotion.

    Confusing, huh.

It was only a $60 difference for us so I'm going to let this one by and hope there's a more uncomplicated match in the next couple weeks.

That is pretty much exactly as a suspected. Thanks for the response!

  3. I am currently booked early saver on the Breeze for May 11. Here's my question... I know how early saver works as I have used it in the past to price match and get a lower rate as onboard credit when the cruise price drops, but I have never tried to get it with a sale involving onboard credit. With Carnivals rate right now(Onboard Credit Plus Upgrades category) The price of our cruise has gone up $120 total, but we would get $160 in onboard credit. Will Carnival allow me to price match that under early saver?

If they do allow me to price match this, does that mean that in the future if the price of this cruise drops and I submit the early saver form will I lose my onboard credit?

  4. About 6 or 7 years ago our ship was set to leave the Galveston port at 4pm. Our flight was supposed to arrive in Houston around 10am, but due to weather delays and then a mechanical issue on our connecting flight we did not arrive in Houston until 2:35pm and by the time we collected our bags and got in a taxi it was 2:55pm. It is normally about an hour and 15 minutes drive from the airport to the pier, but we told our taxi driver(Pedro) our situation and boy did he earn his tip that day. I was looking over his shoulder many times to see our speed, but his speedomoter did not work. lol This was probably a good thing since our speeds were probabaly around 90 mph most of the time. It was the ride of our lives!lol. While we were in the vehicle we made a call to carnival to see if theres anything they could do and we were told to just hurry as much as we could.

Needless to say, Pedro got us to the port at 3:52 and as we were pulling up, you could see the guys attempting to untie the ships ropes from the dock. The porters rushed our luggage for us and we literally ran inside and luckily they had not pulled the gangway yet(probably due to us calling them and letting them know our situation). They rushed us through our check in process and we boarded the ship with only seconds to spare!

It was a little stressful, but hey we made it there alive and once we crossed the gangway and entered the grand atrium, boy were we relieved!

  5. Someone here on cc suggested this and it made sence the first few photos taken on my camera where from my house they suggested getting on computer make a word doc I had my name home address city state zip cell number and also what's ship I was going to be on and stateroom number so if I lost it I would hope someone would look thrum photos and get it returned. So just a suggestion I thought it was a good idea.

We have done that before. We havent had to see if it works yet(fortunately) but I think it would work. I know if i found a camera, the first thing i do is flip through a couple of pictures for a couple reasons. One is to see if theres any clues as to who the camera belongs to and the other reason is because I am just nosey. lol :D
