We are lucky that you are willing to put up with Doug’s late night live reports. Or maybe we’re just lucky that you usually have an early bedtime.

Hey Doug what about your future cruises, do you have those listed somewhere? I remember seeing that you were going to be on the Bliss Mexican Riviera in October and was just wondering if you're still doing that one.

Doug has too many sailings on the horizon and may have consequences if he decides to live-post for some of them.

Following along. We are on the Bliss 9 June. Dougout took a lot of pics, but never said where they are from. Lots of food pics too, and, didn’t tell us which restaurant, most times.

It’s kinda crazy that you think that because he drives me insane with how much detail he puts into his posting, right down to what music is playing in the background at times. He always tells you where he is at. If you see a pic, work backwards. It’s there.

I just want to chime in and say a great big thank you to Doug and Sue for letting me be a part of their incredible story (I feel like I’ve scored some street cred just by being part of this live feed!). It really was one of the best cruises I’ve ever taken and Doug and Sue were a huge part of it!

Imagine my surprise when I returned home to find a box from Amazon containing a sweet message from CC member cyanviolet.

 

I wonder who the gummy bears are for?!?

As a late person to this thread, I'm only up to page 20 out of 81 pages (?)

Michael, despite your worries that we had any preconceived notions of you prior to meeting, we both found you to be a pleasant, gentle man. It touched my heart when you stealthily left behind the Vietnamese Dong in the Thermal Spa, and you were so thoughtful with the gifts you gave us.

Thank you for introducing me (us) to the LCR game. There was a lot of excitement and energy in the room for both sessions and everyone seemed to really enjoy it.

You and Catherine are such a lovely couple and I hope that we will sail together again someday.

Really appreciated you taking the time to do this thread as we will be on the Bliss on May 30th. My only critique is the intentionally crooked pictures. Many of us are reading this thread in the morning (before booze) and those photos were enough to make us nauseous. Other than that, we now know what to expect. Thanks so much1

Sue, how long is the strap? My Lisa is looking for a crossover for Alaska and strap length is the issue. It looks like a great bag. Found them on-line and a local store.

 

Doug, the room photo was absolutely classic. Well done.

I can’t measure it but here it is fully extended. I am 5’0” and the bottom of the bag almost hits my knee.

Please take note of my second day hair.

Loving this review and the others. We're not on the Bliss until Feb. 2019.

 

 

 

Loved the picture of the crepes, but now that they are charging for them, are they not available in the buffet in the evening? On the Getaway and Dawn last year, we had one that looked just as good, every night of our 28 night and 20 day B2Bs. There were 4 or 5 of us every night and the line was long. Best dessert on the ship IMO. Of course none of my clothes fit by the end of the cruise, so maybe charging for them might be a way to limit my intake.

It looks like 2 bottles are tucked behind the champagne bottles. That would make 24.

Actually the two behind the champagne bottle were here because we are gold, so we each get one complimentary for that status.

Which means we still paid for 24 but received 22.

Doug I believe you are in a mini-suite? I'm wondering about the single brew coffee makers in them. Are they Hamilton Beach coffee pod machines? You are such a great person to answer all of our questions!!!

I can tell you that Starbucks has straws. Last night at Food Republic my first drink had a straw but my second drink didn’t and I don’t have much memory after that.
