I heard that NCL is discontinuing straws in their drinks and notice no straws in these drinks. Is this true?

I can tell you that Starbucks has straws. Last night at Food Republic my first drink had a straw but my second drink didn’t and I don’t have much memory after that.

I have always loved formal night. It's really one of those long-standing cruise traditions that reminds me of The Love Boat.

Wait a minute, are you telling me you have actually watched The Love Boat?? The Love Boat is my ALL TIME favorite television show! I think I can attribute my love of cruising to that show! I always wished I could be Vicki Stubing. What a dreamy life.

I have wanted to leave from New Orleans the last few years but haven't been able to convince my husband - seems like you lose a day in the colder weather. Did you find that

Personally, New Orleans was one of the highlights of the trip for me. I had never been and Doug was really excited for me to experience it. I have to say that I was a bit skeptical because I am not a party girl (I don't know if that was well portrayed in the thread) and I didn't set my expectations too high. It was a fantastic experience; the history, the music, the people, the food, all were over the top and I would absolutely love to go back whatever the weather.

In the words of my daughter, "It's like Disney World only ten times better!"

What's funny - after Sue posted above, I went back and looked at her prior posts, as I used to post under her account. I found the following from 2012, confirming that "wandering" has always been my thing...
