Never seen something like this ever before. We are on Oasis in Labadee. Before gangway up I noticed an overturned boat just off the ship. I think it was a labadee staff boat. They called Oscar. Seadoos went to rescue them. Then a helicopter landed around 9a. They have now closed the gangway for a medical emergency. Scary stuff.

I like to board early but one year I was the last to board. Very weird feeling. A myriad of problems caused me to arrive 3 minutes before being refused. The terminal was like a ghost town. No customers and most staff had left. I got the vip treatment and was taken care of by what felt all the remaining staff to get me boarded. I felt like a vip! But I admit I was nice to go straight to my cabin.

I haven’t even seen them listed in the cruise compass for the current sailing or the past two.

No. You would have to get to the venue early and get in the standby line. After the resos get in, it’s first come first served. Typically the first 10-20 people get in.

Typically yes. It should have no bearing on future offers.

Why is there no option to book a comedy show on Oasis (Jan 14)? That’s the show you need reservations for the most.
Also, checking the current compass for oasis there is no comedy show listed. Did oasis stop doing comedy shows?

You don’t need to purchase anything for this connection to work. Bluetooth is its own network created by the phone. You are good to go. I use one too.

Just go to guest services on the cruise and remove any amount you don’t thjnk is fair.

When does it open?

I don’t think it matches to Caesar’s Diamond Plus though? MGM Gold = Caesar’s Diamond right?
-
For comedy shows I would go around 30 mins early.

Just reservations are sold out. Standbys will still be allowed. Get there early you shouldn’t have a problem.

If you pay to upgrade your cabin on casino offer that’s comped, is the upgrade fee refundable at any point?

I tested positive for Covid within ten days of sailing so cancelled our cruise 11/27.
I have received 100% refund in dribs and drabs, the last about two days ago. No issues at all 🙂
What was the procedure? What docs were required?

We are sailing on casino offers in February. 2 pax per cabin. There are cabins we desire that we are not entitled to because they are for 3-4 occupancy. We have been in these exact rooms many times with only two. When does Royal allow 2 pax to book those cabins?

In regards to this how strict is RCL with the policy when it comes to color. I was planning on bringing a light grey (charcoal) colored suit for the cruise as my other suits seem to big now 🙂 Not sure if I should go out and purchase a new outfit. Thanks!
There is no “strict”. Wear what you want. Mdr staff will never say a peep to you. It’s become more as an optional thing.

I usually stare at the dressed up people in admiration of their patience, and ability to look so good dressed up.

We booked a cabin for 3 on Symphony that was cancelled back in January. Royal offered us FCC. When they arrived they were unevenly distributed amongst the pax that seemed odd. I realize it’s done based on passenger 1-3 etc.
Now we want to use them to book 3 separate cabins. But since they are spread out weird, two passengers are getting the short end of the stick. One is left with a balance they can’t even use.
I vaguely recall reading somewhere that royal will let you balance out the fccs. However when calling in, I was told no.
Am i misremembering? Is it somewhere in print? Some guidance would be appreciated.

Has the main showroom theatre entertainment returned to SOS? Ever since she returned from her COVID break, I’ve been checking the app and none of the main entertainment has been listed. Maybe it’s a lazy CD not updating the app? But there has been no Hairspray, Flight, Aqua, Skating, or Attic comedy listed.
Does anyone on board have one of those one page entertainment schedules they can post?
-
So if a PCR test can still show positive for months to come, does RCCL allow for people to sail with proof of a previous positive test thats of a certain age?
-
Can someone onboard Symphony update us as to what entertainment offerings there are on the sailing that started today?
-
When do we expect the entertainment crew out of quarantine and back on board? Should be a week or two?

So based on what we know about timing of the outbreak and quarantine time, when do we expect Symphony to get entertainment back? January 8th sailing?

Unless you are sailing before January 5th, you wont be getting tested onboard to come home. Royal has cancelled that program.

Are all icon excluded? If so, then why are they listing individual icon sailings as well?
