I just finished watching the promo video of it below from Princess.
It's great!! Can't wait to order one on our upcoming cruise.

Premium coffees would include things like Cappucino's, Latte's, etc. as opposed to the regular sludge like coffee that is included at no charge.

Thanks for your great and entertaining review. My partner and I are sailing in the Explorer in just over 3 weeks for the 9 day cruise and reading your review and seeing your pics are getting us so excited. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this. :):)

I just found this article today about this mosquito born illness. I am now officially worried about our cruise in 30 days since 3 of the 4 ports of call on our trip are listed on the Center for Disease Control's website as having official reports of the disease.
What are others hearing about this. I see nothing on the RCI website about this. Is anyone else worried?

Hi Tigers,
I'm on the same sailing with you and wasn't really concerned (Until Now- Thanks!).. Just Kidding. :D
As was stated previously, Mosquitos are typically active at Dawn and Dusk which isn't really an issue during our cruise. I think this would be more of a concern if you were staying in the islands and were out and about in the evenings when they are most active. Try not to let it stress you outl if you think you'll be out during these peak times, or on an excursion that takes you into forested ares where they are more likely to be active, bring some insect repellent with you.

Keep in mind that sometimes the group fares, even with the onboard credit and 16th fare free can work out to be more expensive than taking advantage of a wow sale or similar offer. We recently looked at doing a group booking but the wow sale offered a more significant overall savings so we booked that way instead of booking as a group.

Something sounds fishy to me. If the cabins were in fact on hold, then they wouldn't have just been "lost". Either they were never actually held, or there is more to the story not being shared.

We just booked a couple of weeks ago on the Explorer for early July and the first seating showed as full, so we took late seating and wait listed first. The next day when we went to pay the deposit, the waitlist had already cleared and we are now confirmed for first seating.

We love spending time on board during port days if it's a port we aren't really interested in or have been to several times already. It's definitely less busy on board than sea days but there are still numerous people with the same idea. Enjoy your cruise.

We are looking at the classic option but really don't like Champagne. Has anyone ever tried to switch the Champagne for a bottle of wine? Just wondering. Thanks. :)

YIKES!
We are sailing on the Silhouette in 45 days (not that I am counting) and this was cool (yet scary a bit). We are just sailing from NJ to the Caribbean so hoping not to run into this type of rough seas. The video is enough for me. Glad you made it home in one piece.
Thanks for sharing.

Agreed! Checked our sailing today. Price dropped by $100CDN per person but we lose our onboard credits and extras so works out to be pretty much the same so are leaving it as is. :)
