  1. I love the dress! I'm wondering though, about the other nights, besides "elegant" night, do people dress up? I have a couple of dresses that I would like to take with me, but I don't want to be out of place. I'm losing weight, down from a 26 to an 18. Not much, but I'm starting to get a bit of curve! I want to feel good for these nights with hubby. This is our 25th anniversary cruise, so it is our "honeymoon."

    Advise would be appreciated.

Terri, you need to dress for you...You'll look lovely, I'm sure. And don't sell yourself short on your losses. 2 years ago I was a 26 and now I'm a 10/12. Celebrate every loss!!! Lord knows I'm going to "dress up" each night. I worked hard to lose 110 lbs and I know how you feel. You and your husband have a special trip and enjoy each other's company. Screw what other people think...if you feel good and aren't wearing a see through chain mail dress (unacceptable with any body type IMO), go for it!! :D

what does everyone think of this dress..i kind of like it for formal night.it's only 10 bux..not really sure i need to buy a dress but it's so reasonable..my DH thought it looked kind of cha cha but i think it's kind of cute..i love black but i ALWAYS end up picking black so im trying to get away from that LOL...thanks in advance..oh BTW..i think it looks a little wrinkled here so i would iron it 1st of course

Although it is not my style, It's entirely up to you and if you have the figure to pull it off (a sz. 6 or under) I say go for it. I don't consider this formal/elegant, though, but on a more casual night, it could work. To me it falls more under "Clubwear".

  3. Does anyone know who is going to be on the Glory at the end of March? We are sailing on March 25th and the last list I saw had Tom Riccio on there through 2/26, but I haven't seen anything updated. Does anyone know anything about him, in case he stays on the Glory during our cruise? I can't seem to find out much about him.

    Thanks!

  4. When you get back, could you please tell me your opinion of Brad? Thanks and have a good cruise.

Last March we were on the Liberty with Brad at the Piano Bar and he was fabulous. Very personable, wicked talented and he always had the place hopping later in the evening. He starts off with more of the piano bar "classics" and gets more upbeat as the night goes on, but once it hits 11 or 12:00 at night, he plays some great (very funny and entertaining) "R" rated songs. We spent each night there and at the casino and had a blast!

  5. When I was a little girl, I was given a Raggedy Ann doll who went everywhere with me. I still have her and I still take her with me. She was a "friend" to me when I was a child and as a well rounded adult, I've taken her with me on trips to Europe, shark cage diving in Hawaii, at the ruins of Tulum Mexico, "snorkeling" via a Ziploc bag in the Cayman Islands (underwater camera captured that one!), she was in my backpack with me when I completed my first 5K and she was with me as I gave birth to my daughter.

To the OP, it's not for you to understand. Some people get joy in simple things...My raggedy ann was a childhood toy who was a source of comfort growing up in an abusive family and she will always be important to me, so I choose to take her along. My husband finds it amusing and I take her out for a photo or two in certain locations.

So you don't get it. I don't get how you can walk around with a stick up your butt...so I guess we're even.
