Going on Independence of the seas out of Port Canaveral. Flying in the day before to Orlando. Does anybody know the easiest way to get to to the Port?

Would it be possible to walk from the cruise parking lot?
-
To get the 4 pack of beers in your cabin do you order it before you sail?
-
Usually get a margarita at Blue Iguana Cantina on the Lido Deck then sit on Serenity Deck.

That's awful about embarkation. We have sailed out of Baltimore numerous times and that was one thing that seemed to always go quick. We are going in September so I hope some of the entertainers change out. One of our favorite things to do is hang out in Red Frog Pub listening to the band. How was Chopsticks? Went in February and that was consistently good. Glad you still had a good time!

Sounds like you need to be on a senior citizen ONLY cruise!!

Definitely prefer the Pride over the Grandeur but am sailing RCL again because the Pride goes to the same places all the time. I think with kids you may like the Pride better because the crowd on Grandeur is definitely older. There may not be many other kids in the kids program.

Was the surf and turf lobster bigger than the mdr one.
quote=ButterflyGirly;55592022]I will not be able to tell you if they are equal in taste but last week I had the Surf & Turf at the steakhouse on the Conquest. If I am remembering correctly the lobster tail when ordered by itself was 10 oz and the lobster tail in the Surf & Turf was 6 oz. I also had the lobster tail in the MDR and I thought it was just as good as the one in the steakhouse. I, however, am certainly not a foodie so a more distinguished palette may have been able to tell a difference.

On the steakhouse menu it looks like their are 2 lobster options. Are they equal in quality and taste. Obviously the one with the surf and turf would be smaller.
Also does anyone know if the new menu is at David's on the Pride?

I would do it if the location was ok. (Not under lido).

What cabin number did you have? Going soon in cabin 7220. Never been on 7th floor before.

Loving this review. Your detail is much appreciated.

Glad you had a good time!

Did you see if the deli has the new menu?

Every time uot
i had one keep doing that to me. I asked her to not call again. She called once again and I told that I had already asked her not to call again. She stopped after that. I understand how annoying it is.

Have gone the past two years at the end of March. I think the slide opens Tuesday. They opened the roof when we docked ***** Wednesday.

It must be something about that ship. Had similar experience about 6 years ago. Plus the hallways stunk like sewer.
-
I just looked at the deck plans and 7220 is a standard balcony - not even extended. You might want to check your booking.

Thanks. You are right. I don't think he said premium. I think he said preferred. Going to call them back.
-
Not sure what you mean by preferred.
there are premium balconies 2 of them on deck 7
I think the guy told me preferred. It definitely isn't one of the premium ones. I checked dimensions and it was all standard. I had asked for extended and he told me it was better. Going to call back and change it.

Thank you for the replies!

Can you make phone calls through the What's App if you get the social wifi package on carnival?

I believe you are referring to a premium balcony cabin. The cabin is larger than a regular or extended balcony cabin. They have upgraded trim..tile, mirrors, wood flooring entry, marble counters etc..like the suites. The balcony is larger..deep like an extended balcony cabin..but also wider. We love the premium balcony cabins on the Spirit Class ships.
This is good to hear! It is room 7220. Thank.

Just booked a preferred balcony on the Pride. I asked for extended balcony and the guy said I got a category upgrade and that this was a better cabin. It is a great location on deck 7. Is the location the only thing that makes it preferred?
How late can we stay at Horseshoe Bay?
in Bermuda

Our cruise doesn't dock at the dockyard until 1 pm. We are only in Bermuda for 24 hours but want to have some beach time. I we head right to a shuttle what is the latest shuttle back to the dockyard? Then we plan on taking the ferry to Hamilton at night. Walk around the dockyard the next morning. Does it sound like we can do all this?
