I had an experience on serenity on the Pride where 4 women sat down and pulled out a speaker and blasted their music over the music playing. Didn't feel like arguing so I moved to the other side. That was really annoying.

Are you sure you printed out the correct luggage tag? You don't want the one that is part of the SetSail Pass, you want the one that is towards the end of the cruise docs.

Okay glad to see this thread. Printed out luggage tags and the actual important part is so SMALL. I understand the folding and all of that but it still seems like it should be bigger.

Thanks for all of your posts about your cruise. Taking the same trip in two weeks. Never been on RCL before. I am interested to hear if there is a dressy night. My daughter loves to dress up.

We have always been able to get into the gate at 9:00am for Grandeur. Wait 1/2 hour in the car line and right about 9:30 they start loading your bags from the cars.

Going on Grandeur July 22nd. What time were you able to get in the parking lot? Been on the Pride a lot and had to wait til noon to get in parking lot. Thanks.

Thanks. Do they have shows on it? Do you know if there is a formal night on the 5 night cruise? Also wondering if we are allowed to bring any diet coke on board.

First time on RCL. Been on Carnival Pride several times. Love leaving out of Baltimore. I have heard that you need to make reservations for shows but my booking doesn't show any shows. Going July 22nd to Bermuda. Thanks

Can each diner get half off a bottle of wine and take it with them when they leave?

Does anyone know what the daily activities are for the Carnival Pride? I'm sailing in March and I'd love to know what each night will be...white party, formal, etc.

The first dressy night is Monday and the second one is Friday.

So if you buy the wine there do you get to take it back to your cabin?

Anybody back from the Pride April 3rd sailing? Did they fix the Propulsion problem?

We were on this cruise. The crew is amazing. They weren't bothered by the delay. We had to be out of our cabins by 5:00 p.m. so they could be cleaned. They didn't clean the rooms at all before that but I doubt anyone minded. Whenever one was asked about it they all smiled and said it is just another day. I was really impressed with their positive attitudes.I think the people put out the most were the passengers getting on.

Yes! For us it is for priority embarkation and mostly debarkation. We drive 6 hours to the port so getting off first makes a big difference in what time we get home. It was also nice having the special line at guest services.

Do the Ocean Suites on the Pride have a bigger balcony than the obstructed balcony? I have seen two different measurements.

Will be on the Pride on Easter. Does Carnival do a special menu for holidays?

We also bring our allowed two bottles of wine. We pour a glass in our room and take into the MDR. Works great. BTW, there are some pretty good reds that now have screw off caps eliminating the need for a cork screw , and making it much easier to keep opened wine.

Totally new to NCL and am thinking about booking the Pearl. Looking through things I have seen that there is an approx. 7.00 service charge per day for room service. Is this for all cabins or just the special ones? I see that there is $7.95 each time you order room service and it can be higher depending on what you get but not sure if the $7.00 per day charge would be on my bill. Thanks in advance.
