  1. Yes I find them very reasonable. £3.95 for a pint of carling £3 for a vodka and splash of coke. We do get discount on these as well (10%) but as its your first cruise you won't get any (sorry)

  2. Groovechick is right princess points are not recognised by p&o. They are the other way round.

I did Singapore to southampton last year,it was a excellant cruise saw some beautiful places, I did find the entertainment a bit naff though. P&o wanted £4k pp to do the Taj I thought that was steep so did not bother, I would loved to have seen it though.

  3. I am also e608 Genoa to Genoa for the gp. I have just checked my personaliser and it says under the flight details that the luggage will be transferred from the plane to the cabin. I then get the same message further down about being met outside.

On a side note I did this cruise last year and it was one of the best I have ever done. Just hoping the gp tops it all off.

  4. I don't think Sport 24tv have the live rights to Formula 1, they are showing todays grand prix at 5:30 pm, which is presumably the Sky highlights show.

Celebrity have ESPN on their ships TV which did have live Formula 1 last time we sailed.

How would they not have the rights but show it at 17.30? They do show football first, but will show the race. If it is on in the rising sun is a different matter. It depends if it clashes with one of the many quizzes or a singer. Hence why you might have to watch from the cabin

Have a look on sport 24 website schedule it's is listed on there.

I will be watching from the grandstand whilst on the Oceana cruise can't wait

  5. Don't do what my other half did. Put the wrong pin in the terminal, in the first shop in the first port. we spent the rest of the holiday trying to unlock the card in ATMs, we finally managed it in Gibraltar in the last port

  6. We also found it to be slow and sometimes not available at all whilst in port. The signal was sometimes very poor in the cabin but I found that if I stood with the door open near the corridor it was much better (just looked a bit silly when people walked past).

I hope you had your clothes on when in the doorway

  7. Yep don't do a ship tour. Book with someone like alla tours. You can get off in st petes if you have a pre booked tour.

Do there 2 day tour, I did it was superb. We went all over, walk straight into the hermitage past people from the ship in the que on a p&o tour. They did not want any money till halfway through the second day.

  8. Wow just noticed when you next sail! I take it that it's the one that Ant and Dec are on next week? Have a brilliant time :)

Yes it is, but now I wish I was stopping at home. But that's is another tale, enjoy your cruising

  9. Pisa was a easy diy trip. Take the shuttle into town it stops by a little arcade, where you can book a bus to Pisa (they are single dockers and going to n grow all the time). With regard to Rome come out of the port and there will be loads of taxis fighting for your business for a trip to Rome, last time I was there it was €25-30

But if you have booked the cruise and they are a must see, take the ships tour. Just in case

  10. I think you answer your own question. 1 device works so it can't be p&o. Try doing a hard restart on the iPad (power and home button until the apple logo shows (ignore the slide to power off message)).

I have tried two browsers and two cruises both been fine today logging on

  11. Don't listen to to pandasteve. I was on her last year doing this cruise and it was so good I booked again this year. The food will be the same as any other p&o ship. Maintenance happens on every ship all the time.

I certainly don't think it nice of pandasteve to be trying to wreck your holiday prior to you going. Listen to your friends would they have rebooked if it was so bad. When in May you going I'm getting on on the 18th for two weeks
