  1. Normally I would take any upgrade, at any time, (though have still never, ever met the upgrade fairy) but plan on setting my profile to "do not upgrade" for our Radiance August Alaska cruise B2B. Not giving up 9256 for anything on that one! Well....except for 1100. ;) Aft cabins are great for viewing the inland water way. :)

You are smart to do that. We had 9256 on Radiance for Alaska in 2012 and it was incredible. Enjoy our room ;)

  2. That was an awesome review and the best mentality to have while on a cruise or any vacation for that matter. If you go into something looking for a problem you will find it. If you really put into perspective the sheer volume of people they are handling every week cruise ships really are amazing in their overall quality and customer service in my opinion. Are there some ebbs and flows? Sure. But as you said you are on vacation so smile and enjoy the precious little time away from the daily grind

  3. Ha that's a sneaky little tip. We are C&A members this is only our 5th cruise since our first was our honeymoon in 2010. We reach the next tier mid trip but that does us no good this time so we only have gold discount status. Do you know if they offer a midweek type of deal where you can still get the $15 a day rate for the remainder of the trip?

  4. I have seen the package prices for whole cruise and single day usage of Voom but is there still an option to pay by the minute? Reason being my wife and I will be on Allure in February and we will only need the Internet to make a couple FaceTime calls to our kids throughout the week. Maybe two or three times using a grand total of about 20 minutes. Is this still a possibility or is it all package based now? Last time we were on board was Oasis in December 13. Thanks
