  1. Hi-

We have MTD reservations for every night at 7:30 (earlier ones were taken, except for 5:30) and am wondering if we will be able to be done with dinner in time for the 9:00 show. We requested tables for two, so I'm hoping we can have a little more control over the pace of dinner. I'm hoping to be out in an hour.

    Thoughts??

    Thanks,

    Chris

  2. I'm looking for the same thing. My drinking days are over, so I'd actually prefer a club (or whatever) that doesn't have open bar. If the only places available include booze, that's OK, but I do prefer a quieter spot as well. Trust me, I used to love the "animal house" atmosphere :D, but now I just want to chill and relax on the beach, but also have some activiites and food included,

  3. None of the Italians that I know ever refer to pizza as a pie.;)

Call it whatever you want, New Haven pizza is the best I've had. Also different here is we get "mootz" on the pizza, not mozzarella. I've ordered pizza with "mootz" in other places and gotten some real weird looks.

Also, all kids of different terms for the same things here in New England; soda vs pop (or even "tonic" in parts of Mass. What's up with that?), milkshake vs. frappe, etc. Even CT lobster rolls (hot & buttery) vs other NE states (cold w/mayo). Who dips their lobster in mayo when they eat a whole lobster?

I'm way off topic here, but whatever. I also have to get myself to Providence for some of that good Italian food up there. Federal Hill, right Ocean Boy?

  4. You all can have NY and Chicago pizza (had them both), but I will take New Haven pizza any day over them. Where are the CT peeps on this thread? How bout some love for Pepe's and Modern (OK, Sally's too). Those that have had these pies know what I'm talking about. Those who haven't, you're missing out.

Believe me, around here Domino's, Pizza Hut, and Papa John's are not considered pizza.

That all said, four weeks from today I'll be enjoying a slice from Sorrentos on Freedom. Everything tastes great on a cruise. Can't wait.

  5. Just booked an OTW for Jan 14. We are not in a suite. Originally booked a beach cabana, but after looking at all the pictures posted of the OTWs, I just changed the reservation. Thanks to all who take the time to post pictures, I'm already glad I switched. Much more privacy and a much better view it appears.

Only 6 more months of waiting.
