" dress code for men" - there is no dress code anymore. Wear what you want as others will do.

8137 - had no problem last month.
-
Stayed in 8137 had no problems. It was a great cabin.

When your at sea, all you see is water - it does not matter what bit of water you see.......

I enquired about a Caribbean cruise in February yesterday with a couple of travel agents. Explore 4 was around £450 extra.
Hardly a perk is it? Its just pre paying for drinks and paying up front for a different dinner one night.
-
Strange - I was on the sailing the week previous, June 24 -1 July. Myself and many others had dinner suits on. (tuxedos to the Americans)
-
Whenever I have done this I find its easier to pre book with whoever I book the cruise with. Just one way, as the return flight is usually late afternoon or early evening, so I book an excursion with transfer back to the airport

On the June 24 sailing they were monday and thursday.

Not on the konningsdam last week in the main dining room.

We have (had) a spa outside on deck 10 - one of the forward facing cabins. So yes a great upgrade.
BUT why leave it so late - friday evening when we sail on sunday? A bit of a shock to the sysytem when the HAL site is down and the phone line does not open until 9am tomorrow.

With about 25 hours until we leave for the airport, HAL has decided to send me an email with a cabin change!
Does anyone know anything about cabin no. 8137? (apart from it being a balcony) Is it a restricted view etc?
HAL website is down for me and I will have to wait until tomorrow morning to get in touch with them here in the UK
Many thanks )

Been to Shanghai and Singapore many times at different times of the year never noticed anything. Bejing may well be quite different though.

Could not give a err ?? as long as the cruise is fine....

I also like the ready made beer that comes ready to drink in a bottle. Ditto the Gin that comes to me with a piece of ice and lime too. And as for the ready made beds every day - WOW!

I quite like them as it goes.

HoHo bus in Valleta - it stops next to the ship. BUT its a great place to walk around. There is a lift near the ship to take you up to the town.

Just the first page with my name on? Or all 11 pages...

Plenty of places wherever a cruise ship docks in the world for free wifi.
Wherever you dock you will find half a dozen or so of the ships crew sitting outside a shop or cafe using the stores free wifi. I have done the same along side them many times.

I think they meant a spa inside cabin, as opposed to a regular inside cabin........

Have a peek next door in 10004 - we are in that cabin soon. Whats the view like....
-
Long may it continue

Like a formal night....except no dress code or different menu. So - what exactly is it?

We have been in November and have had fantastic weather.

We too have been on many cruises over the years. We also have got so used to cruising, that the "wow" factor has long since gone. We are now very selective on where and who with we cruise. We are also taking more hotel based holiday these days. Italy, Greece etc. We choose hotels and areas carefully also.
Then, when we book a cruise, we seem to get a little more excited and we don't seem to pick holes in everything and core our cruise with previous cruises. Maybe too many cruises make people too blasé and expect every cruise to be as good as your memories...

It was about $75 last month on the Koningsdam. Though I never saw a single person in there, apart from the staff.
