Thank you for your reply Zach1213!
Actually we're considering breaking up our trip with a connection in Tokyo. 17+ hours sitting in Prem Econ doesn't sound particularity appealing. Would prefer to have a walk around before getting back into the sitting position again. However, that puts us in a 777-300ER.
Any further thoughts, anyone?

Though this post maybe trivial to some, we'd appreciate your input please.
Which airline gives the most comfortable seating and onboard experience in the Premium Econ cabin:
ANA or Singapore Airlines when flying from LAX to SIN?
Thank you for your help.

FlyerTalker, Have always appreciated your advice.
Will check out the Cruise Air Forum on Cruise Critic. Have some long haul flights in the near future and need some savvy advise.
Thanks for being on CC!

We're used to Oceania A3 cabins which are 168 sq ft cabin and 50 sq ft veranda.
Splendor Cat H is 219 sq ft and 88 sq ft veranda.
And yes, we spent sooo many wonderful days on Paul Gauguin where the cabins are small but so well planned and the veranda though small brought us hours of incredible views of the islands.
Oceania Cat A cabins have lots of drawers, shelves, and cubbies plus on the R ships, the closet is in the hallway across from the tiny but adequate bathroom. The location of the closet provided easier access than the closet location next to the bed on Riviera and Marina.
My concern is the seeming lack of storage space in Splendor's Cat H. I'm not concerned about the size of the cabin but more about the amount of storage space.
And Hi Wendy!! Hope you've been doing well.

Nobody has ever stayed in a Cat H stateroom on Splendor?

If so, what stateroom?

Dolores,
Please share the name of the care service.
Happy travels to you!

Thank you for responding Paul and including a photo as well!
Well darn, 6 drawers is less than what we're accustomed to on O in an A3. Maybe if we relocate the stuff on top of the safe and use that to stack some stuff like shorts, t-shirts it might work.

We're thinking about switching a cruise on Oceania to a cruise on Regent Splendor with a similar itinerary.
We usually book a Cat A3 on Oceania so we are used to smaller cabins and closets. These cabins do have ample drawer and cupboard space for our needs.
We understand that the closet on Splendor Cat H is not a walk-in.
Our question is: what more storage is there besides the 4 desk drawers? Is there a bank of drawers in the closet or ???

For cruises departing on August 1, 2022 and after, Oceania will no longer require proof of a negative COVID test. The exceptions are cruises embarking from Greece and Canada and sailings to Bermuda.
Very helpful, thank you!

As I read it, testing requirements for any cruise departing from a US port remain in place so no relief from the hoop jumping Stateside.

Stayed at the Sheraton at MXP last week. Through the glass doors in the lobby, had a Rapid Antigen Test for 40 Euros. Got the results in 10 mins. Then took the elevator to the hotel bar/resto and had an Aperol Spritz and went "Whew, that was easy". Crazy thing though, no one asked for or looked at our test results or that silly ATTESTATION form. Not when boarding in Milan, not when arriving and departing LHR or PHX.
PS/ATMs in Spain are not tourist friendly.....depending on the bank, the fee charged is waaaay higher than we're use to. We waited to get to France before getting Euros from an ATM and just used our no transaction fee credit card while in Spain (3 ports).

Rest in Peace Paul.
Even though we never met in person, he was so helpful to us as we planned our cruises to faraway places.
Deepest sympathies to Paul's wife and family.

Here is a site on which you can look up average temperatures for any given date and location. I put in Lisbon in May as an example: https://www.accuweather.com/en/pt/lisbon/274087/may-weather/274087?year=2022
Thank you!

We had lots of rain when we were in Spain several years ago in April. It certainly wasn't shorts weather!
Not sure what to expect in Greece, Sicily and Croatia during that time period.
We're spending 2 weeks in Northern Italy and Switzerland post cruise and anticipate cooler temps there.

We're taking a TA/Med cruise March thru mid April and are wondering what the temps might be. Goggle says mid 50's to low 60's which certainly isn't shorts and t-shirt weather.
Opinions/experiences? We know about layering but won't bring shorts if the days will be cool.
Thanks!
