  1. We recently stay there in December and love it especially for the price.  Our room/hotel definitely seemed renovated and spacious. Not sure about the pool area because we never used it nor walked out there. It was probably a 15 min walk to Bayside and Brickell. We also rode the metro mover for free which is right across the street from the hotel. It was about a 5 min ride on the metro mover to Bayside and the mall. Not sure about eatery in the area since we pretty much ate at Bayside or the mall. Ask for a high floor in the back you get a view of the water.  We did take Uber to the port which cost $15. Here are a few pics.

We did this in July. We had a late flight coming home after our cruise so we wanted somewhere to rest after our cruise and take a nap. We stayed here since they had day rooms. It's not a great hotel, I normally wouldn't stay at a place like this but for the price it was fairly decent enough to stay for the day.

Yes after checking out some reviews, we decided against this hotel. I guess I'm asking a little too much. We just might pay the extra cost and get a flight with decent times. Thanks for your feedback.

  3. Hi, hoping someone can give me a recommendation on a hotel to stay at for a few hours of sleep in Ft. Lauderdale if we decide to take a redeye flight. We are a family of four, 2 adults and two kids and thinking of taking a flight that gets into Ft. Lauderdale at 1:00 am. We have a hotel booked at Intercontinental Miami for two days before our cruise so we didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a hotel in Ft. Lauderdale for a few hours of sleep. With kids no way we’re sleeping at the airport.😌 We would prefer to have a hotel near the airport with free shuttle or a quick cab ride there.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations you might have.

  4. Same here. I finally got the discount to go through, then Paypal pegged me for unauthorized transactions. I verified it was me and then they froze me again.

Definitely not worth the $20 to try it again. I get the added security, but dang people!

Same thing happened to me. I guess I will give it a try later. I spent way too much time on trying to get this. OP ~ again thanks for sharing and glad it work for you and others.

  5. Absolutely keep the two balconies. Think about how much better that will be when it's time to get ready for dinner. Or goodness forbid, if someone is feeling under the weather. I love suites- but there are only two of us. I would definitely choose a balcony for two over a suite for four.

Two balconies is the winner! Thank you for your input.

  6. I like the idea of 2 cabins. My kids are 12 and 9 and we just booked two cabins for our next cruise. We all stayed in a suite on NCL in November. While it was very nice, we feel like we all would benefit from 2 bathrooms and some more privacy. Not to mention 2 tvs!

As I was thinking and thinking about what to do I had never considered the 2 bathrooms nor two tv's. I need these boards would get my brain back on track. The two balconies it is. Thank you for your input.
