  1. Now we are off to the Krka National Park. The countryside on the way. Croatian Street food! Now at the National Park and off the bus.
  2. leaving Dubrovnik by moonlight. The airport well lit up. Saturday morning and we are docked in Sibenik Croatia. Another new port for us. The views. The Ocean Odyssey So now ready for an excursion I have been looking forward too.
  3. Rojaan only drinks White. Normally Tiki but tastes like offered white and has that if she likes it. I take a picture then.
  4. Back to Atlantide for dinner. I started with this red. But was then given this wine by the sommelier after talking about our stay in Pinhao where this wine is from. Nice. Rojaan began with the foie gras and I with the laced king prawns. Rojaan had the king prawns and I the miso glazed cod. No desserts again.
  5. Looked at a few restaurants but decided against eating in town. Unfortunately no markets on so back to the ship. Rojaan had already eaten lunch so I went to Deck 11 for a pizza. Half 4 cheese and half sausage. Wind Surf left whilst trivia was on and began raising it's sails. I had time to dart to the window and get a couple of shots.
  6. I passed on a beer. Up here was probably going to be a tad more expensive.
  7. I finally perfected pigeon talk. This fellow just kept looking at me and didn't fly away until a group of people arrived. Don't want these fellows job.
  8. A woman was swimming off these rocks. Sea kayaks everywhere. Up to 75% of buildings in the old town had to be rebuilt after the 1990's war. Dubrovnik was heavily attacke by artillery fire for a considerable period.
  9. I looked at a few restaurants but for decent food the price was high. For example the anchovies I had in Kotor for 8 euro exactly the same dish was 18.5 euros. Maybe look outside the old city and it's tourist prices. When looking I noted that most were eating hamburgers or spaghetti bolognese. Not what I wanted to have.
  10. Every so often they have little cafe for a rest and sustenance.
  11. Next I embarked on my next adventure - walking the walls. First had to get over the shock of having to fork out 35 euros to inflict th pain of going up and down stairs on myself. Fortunately I have finally mastered the task of going up stairs which in recent years has caused a few tumbles as due to my peripheral neuropathy I have significant foot drop. Now with every step up I say to myself "lift" so I don't forget. Such a simple thing means once again I can go upstairs with confidence and do it in less time. So here I go.
  12. We stopped at Dutch Harbour in 2011 on the Shadow. Only 91 passengers as it was soon after the Great Tsunami so we departed from Incheon rather than Tokyo. Most folks cancelled. What was memorable about Dutch Harbour to us Aussies were all the bald eagles around the port.
  13. Don't worry Terry as us oldies die out the republic will happen. As far as I am concerned Australia has done better with a Monarch as a ceremonial Head of State than a lot of Republics with an elected President.
  14. No poke bowls or sushi bowls on the Grill menu on the Moon.
