1. Us residents, just wondering if we go thru customs and immigration at every canada port. Itinerary starts in new york ,sea day,  then hits Saint John, Halifax, sea day, Charlottetown, Sydney, sea day, then boston..etc

So do we have customs and immigration at every canada port or just the first one?

Does it take alot of time?

thanks!

2. ok this is what they told me to do and it worked. But I think only if you have a confirmed booking.

"Good day,

Mine are in foil strips so even easier. The 200 mg are rather large but certainly very easy to take several weeks supply at once and keep them refrigerated as well.

Cancelling for anxiety on an Asian cruise I certainly understand.

This is a discussion husband and I have been having.

Meds - my needles cost 1100.00  PER INJECTION (about $17,000 per month) , which I inject  every other day. Since the cost is so high insurance will only give me 2 weeks at a time. Which we always bring with us.  Something like this quarantine,  has us a little worried. Our next cruise isnt for  12 weeks  hopefully this scare is over with.  We also carry cancel for any reason and if  this virus is still running rampant then we will probably cancel.

Starting to get a little nervous!  I’m a government employee that’s working without pay and I have my final payment coming up shortly for our first B2B!  I already have the money set aside for the cruise but a little scared to pay it off as I have no idea how long this shutdown will last!  Sorry, end of rant.  Just been looking forward to this B2B for a long time and hate to cancel..

I'm so sorry this is happening to you and thousands of other people. IMO go for it, take the break, sail away and leave the rest on land.

5. Our first RCI cruise was fabulous, the only food complaints were Windjammer and the MDR breakfast. We ate the buffet on the first day lunch, and that was the last time we stepped in there. It was pretty bad. The MDR breakfast food seemed to be sitting too long. We ate every breakfast in the Solarium bistro. Smaller batches equaled fresher food. Pic of us from CP 150

Why was the Windjammer bad?

6. Last Year disembarking from our Princess Alaska Cruise, we went to the luggage area..and only ONE bag. And we looked and we waited and we looked and we got help and they looked..no bag...

So we went to file a claim and I just happened to look over at people leaving the baggage area and they had MY bag. Husband ran over and stopped them and got our bag. To this day I do not know if it was on purpose or a mistake. We believe on purpose since we mark all our bags with BIG pink pom poms.

Guess we will never know

7. after reading alot more today and all your help I do think this is possible! We do have a TA so I dropped an email to her asking for her help. I can fly on short trips NYC or Ontario, couple of hours it is those longggggggggggg ones that caused me some issues. We are actually doing a Canadian/New England in May 2019 (I need a HC room so we book way in advance so we get the room we want)

Since we are self employed we can pretty much go any time and for any length. I was thinking 4 weeks. So for now I wait on what the TA say.

8. I am trying to find a transatlantic b2b or r/t is this even possible or doable? I probably need to find a TA to help lol

Little back round, I am sick, last year we did an Alaska cruise flew from florida to seattle and back. However the flight KILLED me argh. So there is no way we can fly to Spain or England ect and cruise back. We had hoped to fly over and do a land tour of 14 to 20 days. But again, the flight and my illness, was just too much for me.

BUT, we can cruise from florida and then cruise back..if anything like that exist. I do not care if it is with the same company, same ship etc. But it does need to be a B2B or at most one overnight. (if that makes sense) I know we will be looking at 24/26 days on a ship.

So do these even exist? I tried looking on carnival (seen no Transatlantic) Princess and RC and all I did was confuse myself.

So help! Is it possible or am I sitting here wasting my time.

9. I had an incident at Miami Port a few years back - I have Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, anyone with MS has ZERO heat tolerance. After about 40 mins in the heat, we asked a worker if we could go inside and they rudely stated that I had to wait just like everyone else (i am also in a wheelchair) cause people complained if we got special treatment, I again stated I did not need to board I just needed out of the heat...and again was refused. About 5 mins later we asked another worker -- and seconds later I was whisked inside.

I have 12 cruises under my belt and that was the one and only time I have ever had an issue. Sometimes people just have a bad day, but in general I think they are very compassionate and caring.

10. We are heading out on the oasis of the seas oct 21 interior cabin #6149 - is a HC cabin (which I need) but we have never cruised interior before. They had an Oceanview available but it was on hmm i think the 3rd deck and hubby hates the lower desk, nothing in balconies (hc)

so interior..6th deck it is

and as it gets closer I am starting to worry that we made a mistake going with an interior, this will be our 12th cruise (first with RC)

can you reassure here LOL any pics of an interior HC room (not a stock photo please)

11. I am disabled and use a wheelchair most of the time, last aug, I got up to go pee, used the walker and the rails and yet I still fell in the bathroom. Ended up on the floor, stranded, crying, in the dark.(was early morning actually) Husband was out in our shop and there i laid screaming for help. This was Four days before our Alaska cruise, and I ended up in the hospital and it was then that I was set up with an organization to help me get a service dog. My disease is never going away and is only progressing.

It will take months of training for both me and my new pet/support worker. We are hoping by the end of the year I have my dog.

I hate hate that abled bodied healthy people are abusing this system, but it is no surprise people think we are getting special treatment. If **I** can bring my dog then so should they!

If they only lived a week in a disabled persons shoes maybe they would not be so quick to bring these fake animals with them!

have a great day!

12. I don't agree with your "Garbage" assessment either.

.

Funny on our last princess cruise, this SNOB , yes I will call this woman a snob, stood in a full elevator and when someone asked about eating at the buffet, she stuck her nose up and said "we dont eat pig slop"

Some of us choose our words more carefully, and others just spew out whatever comes to mind

13. Im in a wheelchair, and there is always good and bad. One cruise, I was standing (aka sitting in my wheelchair in the buffet line) not moving, and the lady in front of me turned around, and me being low, she didn't see me and her and her plate of food fell in my lap...and she yelled..at me. Made me cry LOL

But on many many cruises, fellow passengers are so nice and polite, I TRY to be independent, but sometimes I need help and someone has always been there to give me a hand.

Not all people are bad, just like not all people in wheelchairs feel *entitled*

14. Seems to me that your kids e-mails have been hacked. That's the source of the e-mails.

Either that, or yesterday was a day of badly re-cycled e-mails, as I got a message congratulating me on a nook purchase. Which I bought 4 years ago. And I got a follow up email telling me that it was a mistake...

I got the SAME email LOL about the nook purchase...no follow up yet telling me it was a mistake LOL

15. oomg thank you for all the help! I have been reading and reading about this ship andddddddddddddd we went and booked another cruise for May of 2019 Canada/New England! Think that one is Grandeur of the Seas. For now I am focusing on this one :)

I do have my own wheelchair and I was told about the reserving of seats for the entertainment .

So excitedddddd

Do they have hot chocolate? Free of fee?

I am trying to figure out what is free and what is not. Like Pizza and Hotdogs

And water..carnivals water taste funny and due to a neurogenic bladder I have to drink ALOT of water is RC water like Carnivals? I did log in and see it is 40 bucks sheesh expensive!

16. We have been on 11 cruises but this is our first on Royal Caribbean and our first out of Port Canaveral!!

Booked and paid for Oasis of the Seas in Oct!! So excited :) We wanted to go sooner but if when found a cruise we liked then they had no HC rooms..argh.

I am trying to find out where I buy the water package and how much it is?

I am in a HC room #6149 anyone have any experience with this room?

I am a wheelchair user , are all the decks accessible to me? (you would be amazed at how many decks I cannot get too)

Smoking? (im a non smoker but I try to avoid smoking areas)

Any advice to make this a fabulous cruise?? (its going to be fabulous regardless but advice is always welcome)

17. Have you tried or had any success with some door to door sales on cruises?

We actually supplied the furniture for a BDSM kinky cruise (i think they still do them) was interesting for things like handcuffs..not allowed.

But we cruise to get away from work so no door to door LOL
