I booked Harmony Feb. 23, 2020 at next cruise in Feb. 2019. I just learned that there will be a large event "rockysrockincruises" a 50/60/70's group with entertainers that will be preforming private concerts and other events. I'm worried we will not be able to see the regular shows and such since they will be taking over venues. Has anyone ever been on a cruise with such a thing. So worried, what was your experience?

I have done Anthem and Explorer which is the same class as Adventure. I loved both. It depends on what the kids prefer. But the Anthem seaplex is a great place. They use it for different things such as bumper cars, trapeze, Basketball, Xbox, escape room and ping pong. I will be going on Adventure in August and Anthem in Febuary. I'm sure they will be happy on either one.

Same thing recently happened to me but then a few days later they showed up.

Just off the 7 day Anthem. Book the Escape Room as soon as you get on the ship. We tried after the Muster Drill and it was booked solid! We were put on a wait list, but don't hold your breath.
So.... We found out that it occurs at 10:30, 12:30, 2:30, and 4:30 on sea days. 12 ppl per session. Would not run with less than 6. The room is not easily located - it is near the SeaPlex desk. Just ask.
We did a standby, kept our fingers crossed for no shows, and got in on the second day!
It was fun! We were out in 41 minutes. Record is 34 minutes we were told.
Read here on CC they where starting to charge for this. Did you have to pay to do this? Thanks for your help.

Does Anthem have a shore excursion for Disney on the 7 day Bahamas? I looked at the excursions, and I don't see any for Port Canaveral.
In the general excursion to Port Canaveral I see Disney but in my cruise planner it is not listed. But the same goes for Coco Cay they list in the general port excursion Aqua Park, wave runners, Parasailing but in my cruise planner they are not listed either. Confused why they are not showing in my cruise planner. Called RC but they have no clue. Guess I will wait and try to book on board. My boys want to Parasail in CocoCay hope they have it.

Wow first I saw of this! Disappointed, after knowing it was free to now have to pay is frustrating. Hoping this isn't the start of charging for all activities on ship.

I too would wait on the surgery. You may have complications and I wouldn't want to be on a cruise so far from home. What does the doctor suggest? Good Luck with your surgery!

robtulipe, Thank you so much. Loving the pictures and getting so excited. 112 days to go!!

Bump it up in hope of a response.

I too would go for the Suite. It's a special occasion and the Suite with all the amenities will feel special. The grand kids will love it especially the balcony with the hot tub. Sounds like tons of fun to me. A week of togetherness won't kill anyone and I'm sure will make for great memories. Whatever you decide have a great Anniversary! Cheers!

We parasailed when we were there in Feb 2014. They don't stop for time of year. A lot has changed but ours was never available online we had to book as soon as we got to the island. We got off and went right there we were on the first boat of the day. It was really fun my kids loved it. My son had go pro camera and caught a HUGE sea turtle on video from his time. I would recommend for sure.
Thanks so much for answering! Sounds great! My son just bought the new go pro to have for the trip. I'll tell him about the sea turtle, that was so lucky for your son. 121 days can't wait. Thanks again.

Anyone have any info on Parasailing. I don't even see an excursion for the Aqua Park. Wondering why these excursions are not showing up in my March 5 excursions. There is only 3 excursions showing in my planner but if you look at Coco Cay excursions in general there are 20 listed.
-
Do they have parasailing in March or is it only certain times of the year? Thanks for any help.
-
*do not due lol

Wondering if they due Parasailing in March? It is not showing as an excursion for my March sailing. Do you sign up on the Island or is it only available certain times of the year?? Thanks for any help!

I booked it at Atlantis itself; I was staying across the street at Comfort Suites. Guests there get full complimentary access to Atlantis. (One of the best-kept open secrets in the Bahamas.)
I'd noticed that "shallow lagoon" description before. There would only be two possible locations on the Atlantis property for that; one would be The Dig (aquarium) itself, and the other would be Atlantis Lagoon, which is pretty small. I don't recall seeing any snuba-like activity in that lagoon or in The Dig while I was there. (There is a helmet-dive excursion in the shark tank by the Leap of Faith organized by the same outfitters, but it's not snuba.)
I suspect the ship excursion might have changed and the description hasn't been updated. OTOH, my snuba "buddies," the lady and her two kids in the video, were staying on the property and were not from a cruise ship; I don't know about the other snuba or snorkeling participants.
When I booked it through Atlantis, it was $95 and it DID take about 3 hours.
Thanks so much for your help. I think you are right they didn't update the description.

Thank you everyone for you help! Cheers!

Was wondering if I could bring a bottle of Champagne instead of wine on my Anthem cruise? I wanted to take 1 bottle of wine & 1 bottle of Champagne. Wondering if this is allowed. Thanks for any help.

Here's a too-loud video from snuba, so turn down the volume:(mic on my Fuji u/w camera was too sensitive!)
...and here are pics from my visit to Paradise Island. The snuba pics are near the bottom: http://jet25.hasweb.com/~paulcas/Bahamas%20Trip%20--%20November%202015/
Thanks so much for the videos they are great! Thanks for your help. I was wondering did you do it as a Cruise excursion or directly with Atlantis. The thing I'm trying to figure out is if the Snuba excursion from the cruise is the same because the cruise excursion describes the excursion as a Snuba in a shallow lagoon. So wondering if we will take a boat somewhere or if this is just done at a lagoon on the Atlantis property?
-
If this is the snuba trip organized by Atlantis and Blue Adventures, then you will have a little time to enjoy the waterpark....but not too much. I did the snuba while staying at Atlantis last November, and I'm fairly sure it's the same deal.
If so, it IS a boat dive to two sites near Rose Island -- one was over a shallow wreck, and the other near a reef -- and you will have two groups that will alternate doing snuba and snorkeling, plus another group that will just snorkel. As I recall, the entire thing took 3 hours, which doesn't leave too much time for the waterpark.
I'll be doing the snuba again in November as part of a trip to Atlantis (staying at Comfort Suites, though, as it's cheaper and gives the same waterpark access) and I can't wait. It was $96 booked at the resort and a lot of fun.
Thanks so much for your reply. Have a great time in November!!

Just noticed your from Ireland! My Grandma came from County Mayo. Ireland is on my bucket list!
-
Thank you very much that would be great!! Have a great time! 12 days that's exciting. What ports are you going to. I'm going in March on a 7 night to Bahamas.

We will be in Bahamas in March and was wondering if anyone did the Snuba & Adventure Park excursion from Royal Caribbean. Was wondering how long the Snuba takes and if you have enough time to do the waterpark also. Is the Snuba done on the property or do you have to take a boat? Thanks for any help you can give. The excursion is for 6 hours.

Wondering how is the location of cabins 9292 & 9294? Is it quiet back there? How is the balcony view? Pictures would be great. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
