  1. Hello there! We had obstructed view balcony 6294.... like 10 steps away from the back "secret" entrance/exit to 270... it was super convenient! The obstruction didn't bother us all that much, ours was a 50% obstructed view.

There are a few threads that I can think of that have a lot of information on this if you want to read them.

I hope you truly enjoy your Anthem cruise, as it is an amazing ship! We can't wait to be back on in January!!

Hi I see you were in 6294. It is a connecting room with 6296. I want to do it as the connecting since we are a family of 5. Was wondering the obstruction from 6296. Also, since it is close to 270 is it noisy? Thanks for any help you can give.

  2. I have 7688 booked for Oct. how did you like the cabin? My cousin has 7690.

My husband and 2 sons had 7688 a few weeks ago and they LOVED it. Me and my daughter would come for breakfast on the balcony, it was great. 2 loungers and a table with 2 chairs. I tried posting my pictures but it said something about not having security tokens?? Have a great time!!

  3. I stay in one last summer on Explorer and we loved it. Didn't have any issue with noise (took ear plugs just in case) but never needed to use them. We were on the 7th floor. You can sit and look out the window which my daughter really liked. We will be staying in one again on our cruise in 4 days!!

  4. I will be sailing in this cabin this month, cant wait! Someone posted a pic of this cabin from a few months ago and I believe the floor is blue in it now, not the beige as seen above

Please post pictures for me too!! Can't wait to cruise in July my husband & sons will have this room. My daughter & I will have promenade cabin I get seasick. But I am super excited to go on this balcony and sure my boys will love it!!

  5. We had 2 loungers on our Explorer cruise which was 10/28/12. Didn't get to use them much, as we left Bayonne, and went straight into hurricane Sandy. It was cold and bumpy on our way back from Bermuda too!

Here are a few pictures of our balcony on 7688, with some VERY BAD WEATHER!

Thanks for the pictures. Oh my hurricane sandy, I was praying for all of you. I live in central NJ next to Union Beach & Keansburg so I know how bad it was. I felt RCL made a bad choice leaving. So glad you all made it thru. Hope you get to go with that cabin at a nicer time to enjoy it. Thanks for your help.

  6. I was looking at 8559 but hadn't thought about the convenience for getting coffee in the morning. Although I can do do 2 flights pretty quickly. Thanks for the info.

Anybody else want to give their opinion. Would love to hear it.

I stayed in PR 7611 last summer. It is at the end on the aft side. My view was of customer service and I was above the champagne bar. It was right next to the elevators and stairs so I liked the location. I went down to the parades so not sure if you could see them from the room. I loved the room and never had any noise issue. I had taken ear plugs just in case! lol We are a family of 5 and this summer I will be in 7609 for me since I get seasick and the other half of family will have 7688 the aft balcony. I think you will enjoy the promenade stateroom which ever one you chose! Good luck!
