I overhear people talking their stupid politics. Can I go get a security person and tell them to tell the other passenger to stop talking about their politics and political preferences while within earshot of me?

I also hate the NY Jets, if someone is talking about the NY Jets, I am calling security.

No NY Jet talk, lets go Buffalo......lol

Just your 22 year old booking all by herself??? If you look at Carnivals own policies 21 can travel alone, I am really beginning to think there is more to this story. The reason why is that a newlywed couple age 21/22 can take their honeymoon onboard.

i had to hang up and call back. the agent wasn’t knowledgeable

21 years old can cruise alone. 20 and below must be accompanied by a person 25 years old and above. It's nothing new and plenty of businesses have similar restrictions because what could ever go wrong renting out an asset to a bunch of college kids?

i just got off the phone with carnival and they told me that not even my 22 year old daughter can cruise alone , that someone 25 and older have to be there.

Can you find someone else to go and just change the name?  I'm sure you know many who would love a free cruise.

Its not me exactly, It's my daughter and her friends. My daughter is 22, her best friend and a few others want to cruise; ages

    23

    22

    20

    20

Come to think of it, I am not even sure the 20 year old will be able to board with the 23 year old.

Pretty sure, most ports, unvaccinated people (if they're even allowed to board ship), are not allowed off in ports unless on a ship's excursion.  Some ports, unvaccinated people are not allowed off at all.

The protocols are not "ship" directed, but dictated by the ports.

for carnival unvaccinated kids can’t get off unless bubble tour. i know some islands there’s no restrictions so i was wondering what other cruise lines do about unvaccinated kids under 5

My wife and I are currently onboard the Panorama. This morning, the ship's status went to Yellow, and the port of Cabo San Lucas denied the ship permission to debark. Carnival is refunding everyone's Cabo excursions and giving out a puny $50 OBC per cabin. Should my wife and I ask for more, given that 1/3 of our ports just got canceled, or are we hosed?

$50 a cabin is 25 per person. imagine a cabin of four people that’s 12.50 per person. lol enough for one drink.

Who do you contact for Carnival air?  I have never used it, and was considering...we don't have many options from where we live

when i booked on the website i did it there. however you can call the 800 number and inquire

You can have your reservation number and Carnival still not paid.

However, a good way to check is to go to the airlines website and try to look at your reservation or try to select seats.

i was able to choose my seats and it says booked on the website where before it was asking me to book

You're working with a consolidator. These things happen. Is it right? Doesn't matter.

Are you within 30 to 45 days of trip departure?

If not, then the airline tickets haven't actually been purchased. Yes, Carnival may have your money but Carnival doesn't actually "pay" for the tickets until last minute.

Cancel everything with Fly2Fun and buy your own air travel.

i received my ticket number so they have purchased the tickets, also i still can’t fly delta because it’s $200 more that i’m not trying to pay. Thank you for your response

  10. hello my fellow cruisers.

I booked my air through carnival for my upcoming february cruise. I booked a family of 6 on a delta airline flight, when I went to look yesterday I noticed that they put three of us on an American air line flight; has this ever happened to anyone else and if so how did you handle it?  I have been speaking with carnival but they told me if they put me back on delta i would have to pay the difference, also they won’t be giving me the difference in cost between delta and American when the American flight was cheaper than the delta flight.

It's just a matter of time when all children will be mandated to have the vaccine for cruising, which I believe is the right thing to do. However, how about the airline industry for those flying???? Same protocol needed?? I hope so.

the airlines don’t require anything. if i was able to get my one year old vaccinated i definitely would.

Some hoped 5 and up would be required to be vaccinated and some are glad it wasnt added ... yet.

yeah i noticed that they’re not requiring it. i wonder if that will lesson people chances of getting an exemption for kids 5-11 since the option is there to be vaccinated.

So 3 of you left? Sorry getting lost. Can you move him into your cabin or a solo inside near you?

It would be easier for a travel agent who know how many are going and rate codes, which can be moved. There has been a issue for 3 in a cabin, cant always be booked.

yeah i can’t put him in my room. it doesn’t hold four people. his mom paid in full and wasn’t looking to get a refund. she wants him to still be able to go and just stay in their original cabin. i was wondering if i could change the name of the other two kids and keep his mom on and have her as a no show

  14. 14 minutes ago, firefly333 said:

Probably can pay for a name change. Maybe if you say cant meet protocols they can refund and rebook. Some rates cost $50 for a name change.

3 year old has to be in a cabin with a adult over age 21. Is he still going? Is the 14 year old getting vaccinated?  Hard to say without all the facts.

my 18 year nephew will be the only one going . His mom and 14 year old brother will not be getting vaccinated and of course the 3 year old can’t get vaccinated

  15. My sister in law booked a February cruise with us with herself her 18yo, 14yo; and 3yo son. She refuses to get vaccinated stating she’s never even received a flu vaccination. My 18 year old nephew is getting vaccinated as she can’t tell him what to do with his body. he still wants to go on the cruise. Can i add another adult to the booking and they keep on the ship and she be a no show? Or does the original person have to be there to check him in as well?
