I am surprised they go looking for missing passengers, I was in St. Thomas last year with Celebrity and a family of 4 walked up right at 5pm and the ship left without them, the gates to the pier had been closed

I just bought this dress to wear for formal night next week! Betsy Adam on sale for $32!!!
Beautiful dress and a steal!
Do you mind if I ask where you bought this from? I have a non-cruise formal event in September that this would be perfect for! (and would be great for a cruise as well)

I just won the Hyatt Regency using priceline downtown Miami Sept 29 for $65 with taxes its $81.44

Would like to thank everyone for the advice given on this thread. We headed to St. John on Jan 11 with a couple we met on the ship.
It was as easy as everyone mentioned. Taxi filled fairly quickly - were the first there just after 8. Took an island tour, beautiful! went to Cinnamon Bay (taxi waited, was going to both beaches) but due to the strong waves we went over to Trunk Bay. Even with 4 ships in port it really wasn't that busy, plenty of room to spread out. Had a wonderful day! We took the 2pm ferry back and was in port at 2:45. I can't wait to go back! -
Finally was accepted! $101 for The Conrad Jan 4 - $120 with tax. I was hoping for somewhere difference for a change of scenery but I was happy with my stay last year
I have been trying this past week (started with $90 3 star and then resort)and it was asking me to re-bid $110 for a 3 star.

I stayed at the Conrad last December for 2 nights, had a great time. There are some negative reviews but I didn't have any complaints. There is a casino, 3 pools, small beach and its it close to many restaurants (plus several on site).
I have been trying to bid for Jan 4 - seems prices have gone up! Up to $110 for resort. My flight i booked back in May was canceled so my dates have changed, glad I didn't book earlier.

jlmolner - thanks for sharing. I was considering going to Buck Island in January.... any suggestions of things to do?

Thanks to CC, I learned about the sweet 16 cabins and am booked in 6030 on the Summit!

My dresses have arrived and there wasn't any duty!
They are quite nice for the price. As far as sizing goes, 1 fits perfect (black and teal bandeau) and the other 2 are quite generous. I am a size 6 and ordered size small. They are not clingy at the midsection at all. The floral bandeau sundress comes to my mid calves (I am 5'2") a perfect length for shorter people, The 2 with the bandeau tops could be worn as a dress with the right bra (although there is a bit of padding there is no support). The halter sundress is only good for a coverup, the top is quite loose and doesn't have a ton of coverage.

Celebrity Summit goes to Dominica. I was just talking to Woody about a tour for our cruise in January!

I ended up buying the first 3 because the last 2 were sold out of my size and I just happen to have a credit sitting in my paypal account I forgot about so it didn't cost me anything! I hope they fit.
Goldne - I tend to be a colder person so can't comment on the fabric, I do have similar dresses and what I love most is that they don't wrinkle.
As far as clinging to the midsection, the last 3 I posted will be looser around the midsection, the first 2 are a straighter cut and wouldn't be as forgiving.
For anyone not in the US that is interested in purchasing, I bought from featuredenterprises, the shipping is reasonable and he is willing to combine.
I love the 3rd dress because it is a shorter "long" dress, I am short and find regular dresses too long.
When I get them I will let you know how they fit

Was checking out other vendors. retailsos says they do ship internationally but when I try to contact them to find out rates it says I am unable to contact them, strange.
I have found someone else that will ship, am trying to decide which dresses out of these ones (I really don't need any)
sorry for all the links, I have no idea how to add a picture

Thanks for sharing the links to these beautiful dresses. Those of you in the US are very lucky to have free shipping. Retailsos won't ship to Canada, waiting for another one to get back to me. These dresses are amazing deals!

I was on the Victory in December, there were lines at the buffet but nothing that bad, sea day was the worst so we ordered room service for lunch

I met a couple on our ship that was scammed by him. They were convinced he was for real. I am glad I read about him before our trip.

Thenford had water, no beer or food

I just did a tour with Thenford on Friday! It was my favorite tour out of all the ports! As others have said, he is very knowledgeable and a wonderful guide. His van is fairly new, clean, has AC and he is very good at maneuvering in tight places (Brimstone). Our tour had 12.

cheaptravel & kitkat - I just put in resort, I knew it would reject my $80 bid and didn't think it would accept by $100 bid either. Conrad wasn't my first pick but I think it is a great deal compared to booking directly. No tricks, just what I was given. I don't normally book so far in advance (well I don't even usually book a vacation until the month before) but after seeing that there is at least 1 ship on Saturday and 3 on Sunday the rooms are going to fill up quick. My best deal ever was $50 for a Hilton in Cleveland, never thought my bid would be accepted, that was my first time using priceline.
kitkat, thanks for the map!

I just bid on Priceline and got the Conrad San Juan for $100 per night Dec 9-11, my first bid was $80 and was rejected, they gave me the chance to bid again with only changing the amount.
