The free at sea ubp doesn't include the 18% gratuity?

We booked the premium seats in the balcony looking down at the theatre. It was $10 more but we thought the view was great and the show was fantastic as was the meal. Interesting to hear what others thought on the floor level though.

If my friends, friend transfers them to my latitude account can I retransfer them on?

Honestly I'm not that bothered. And i certainly wouldn't be going to the impersonation route. If my friends friend was willing to sell them then that's up to her as I said they are not MY vouchers so the price is not my problem. If she wants to sell them and needs my help I'm fine with that. Either that or they'll expire. Shame tho.

I doubt that will work I don't even know who owns them. It's a friend of a friend. But I'll speak to her at the weekend.

To be clear, it's not ×2, ×3 etc. It's one additional point per night for each of these types of booking situations, up to 4 points per night. (Someone is going to see your message and go "hey why didn't I get 3 times the points for my suite?" It's just one additional point.)
Yes your spot on its one point per condition, up to a max of four. Didn't mean to confuse.

Thank you, so I'll get double points, pity I don't get 4x for booking 18 months out.:o:D
1 point per night x2 for advance booking x3 for suites and x4 for latitude special cruises. :)

How does the booking in advance part work?
Booking Nine months in advance gets you double points per night . 2x7 2x10 and 2x7 = 48 for me

To be fair this will be only my third cruise and never had a suite. so getting to gold so quick proves booking in advance has its pluses!

Points are awarded after you return. So you'll be silver. In same position myself !

Hello all, We are booked to hit the Escape next May, I used my Cruise Next $250 pre paid voucher (purchased on our last Cruise) to secure the Trip. NOW my friend has informed me she has two Cruise Reward vouchers ($500) and wants to give me them as they will not be used, they were gave to her by another friend as a gift!? Are they any good to me? can I redeem them in any fashion? an upgrade perhaps?

In saying that 1 hour and 26 minutes must be some kind of record. !!!

Are they pending charges or have they been listed. I remember I had pending charges which never actually went live.

I thought I was on an NCL forum there! My apologies !!

We were on the Emerald a few weeks ago, and did room service breakfast every morning. They were very prompt, but we did notice as the week went on that we received fewer and fewer of what we had asked for - to the point where on the final two days we had two pats of butter and two strawberry jams for four croissants - and no fruit, despite it being ordered. Can't beat enjoying a cup of hot tea and a croissant on the balcony while gazing over the ocean or a beautiful port, though.
Did you pay the room service charge for hot items? I so was it fine? We would do this rather than fight our way through the garden cafe if it was decent. £7.95 is a small price for a full breakie on our balcony!

Clear this up for me please:confused: , we have the SDP we will use it at Cagneys and Le Bistro for sure, will we still pay the 18% gratuities? Or was it included?

NCL put a stop to smoking on balconies Nov '14. Including e-cigs. Although I'm not sure how they could enforce the latter as there is no residual odour.

Thats probably the best advice i've read, besides Our last cruise we ate Speciality 9 out of 10 nights and the one night in the MDR was a let down to say the least!! keep life simple eh?? :D:D

Thank you, i'm with you now! :)

As others have said you can add on another SDP to reduce your costs. If you don't do that and you do reserve before you board, then book restaurants with a flat fee first and a la carte restaurants after so you're not charged (or charged less) at the time of booking.
Now i'm more confused:( , The FAQ clearly states that Cagneys is under the umbrella of SDP, but people here are stating it is a la carte. If we go to cagney's are my options limited?

I was sure it was included. ( we are UK) But some conflicting information on here confused me. Now it's clear why. Thanks
