  1. Silversea Cruises have revealed that they will be introducing complimentary Wi-Fi from April 2018 onwards.

    The free unlimited Wi-Fi will apply to all guests regardless of which grade of accommodation they stay in.

  2. Same here, my last cruise before 90 days final payment.

     

    "I have just spoken to Seabourn and they are unable to change the price because the promotions for new bookings only.

     

    I do apologise Seabourn normally allow us to change the costing but on this occasion they are not."

  3. Onboard encore today.

     

    1. Our 2 suite's luggages were placed at the old suite room. We changed into connecting room few weeks ago.I though they would've scanned the bar code before delivering to the suite. This never happened to our last 3 Sojourn cruises with last minutes room change.

     

    2. I need a high chair for my son, last sojourn cruise they had few high chairs to choose from with correct height (dinner table height). There were 8 young kids on that cruise LOL.

     

    I was told there are only one high chair onboard. What makes it even worse is the height of chair is 60cm ABOVE the dinner table. They promise they will sort it out. Fingers crossed.

    We board in Sydney on March 6th.

     

    Received the docs today so the excitement level is rising.

  5. The fine print may say no, but in actuality you can. When you take aa marker at the table, it goes against your account. Your account is paid by credit card and OBC. There is no way for them to segment out what is paid by OBC vs credit card.

    Also strange, indeed. Your first example must also be an error; UK pricing should be better than - or the same as - US pricing, not worse.

     

    I though it was an error too, but my UK TA told me what he have quoted is 100% correct. :confused:

     

    Thats why I want to know where I can find current Seabourn's UK official fare. But I think the easiest way is call SB UK directly.

  7. For example back in September I got an quote for 14 Days 14-DAY EXOTIC CARIBBEAN IN-DEPTH

    USD 4999,my UK TA told me its £4041 Per Person

     

    According to x-rates.com convert to Pounds will be £3,841.48

     

    So UK's price is £200 more than US.

    I called Seabourn UK directly just now and got an quote for 6 March Encore.

    V4 US$5999 and Seabourn UK£4765.85

    Strangely the exchange rate is roughly the same this time :confused:

  8. OP: If you have friends in the UK, just ask them (or a UK-based agent, obviously) to look up GBP pricing for your chosen journeys.

     

    My friend who is working at UK did check the site for me, but strangely it shows EURO prices...

     

    Because my UK agent told me that US fare is not = to UK fare, one can not simply convert it with current exchange rate. UK fare is higher thank US

  9. The more experienced can weigh in here, but my read of "call for availability" means that they have availability but don't want to post the price. Undoubtedly at the risk of offending people who booked months ago at a higher rate than what they offering to sell cabins at the last minute. I think if it were sold out it would say "sold out".

     

     

     

    Oh I see!

    No wonder I got pay upgrade to PH in July cruise. I though it was sold out.
