  1. We're in UK and have been  having trouble with adding/saving/editing details on the App. Also after uninstalling and installing app several times, still wouldn't recognise one of us; even with booking number and e mail details.

    So three  days ago,  I DM Princess on their Twitter feed and they replied same day,  indicating  that they were referring problem to Ocean Medallion Team. Today, new message saying that things sorted and hey presto, App is taking all it details and we are both in Green Lane.

    Well done Princess UK in sorting within 48 hours.

    Maggie- Luckily we are in UK and sailing from Southampton and was speaking from that aspect. 

    If flying internationally, then maybe,  I too, would reconsider.

    Is any one else having difficulty in editing informational on the App. I click the edit button and change/edit it the save button still remains greyed out.

     

    Have uninstalled and installed numerous times but no luck. 

    We are in UK.

  4. I really do give up. We are 2 elderly cruisers and are reasonably tech savvy (or so we thought 🤣🤣).  Last week we were both in the Green Lane - all up to date except for Arrival/Departure dates.

    Now we are blue lane, with on only "order medallion" app ticked. Cannot get DH back on the app   Not recognising him as a guest on the bookng number.  On my log-in,  his photo is showing but with my name under his  photo so I'm travelling with myself!!! In the personaliser he us showing up with  my name and DOB.

     

    Talk about stress free cruising- NOT. Taken all the fun and anticipation out of a cruise. 

    BTW were in UK.

    Thank you very much - it has finally worked!!! Managed to get to download  it from the Princess link on the persinaliser from Manage my Booking.

    Not allow8ng me to Do everything and soon slow, but st least it's on my phone.

    However, still not available on Play Storec- peculiar.

    I have Android 8, which my I know is not the latest version but I wouldn't call my smartphone old. I'm certainly not going to buy another phone just to check in m.

It may be helpful if Princess could give passengers an indication of which Android version we need to be able to access Medallion Class in the Play Store.  On Sunday the app was available,  but now it is not available at all in Play Store!! I'm using Android version 8. Is this permanent, or wil it reappear magically?

    I refuse to buy another phone just to check in on a future booked cruise.

    Exactly the same as we are getting. No app now in Play Store.

  9. Just deleted the Medallion App to re insinstall it. Now it won't even  install!! Just says not available, try again. 

    I give up. 

    Half the fun of cruising used to be the anticipation but this Medallion App "experience" is something I will definitely  pass on.

    We are in the UK but are others finding that the app is unavailable on Android?

    Then, when I enter my husbands e mail and password it, accepts it,  but my "My Princess"  account comes up!!!

    It's s real mess.

    Also with my 3 yr old Android phone, I cannot access the Medallion App. I have Android 7.1 and apparently it needs 8.0!!! I I' will NOT be pressurised into buying a new one.

    I agree!  What a mess.  I tried to log in -- then the system asked for me to register (or re-register).  The system keeps asking for a password.  It would not except any "new" password I tried and said the password whether new or old is "not available"??  I tried more new passwords and still could not get into my account (if I still have one).  On Chrome I had the same problem.  What a mess!  John

    On accessing my account on on Princess.com  I can now see that we have been allocated a forward premium S5 suite on Baja deck. This will suit us very well.

    We do not mind that it is so far from the central part of the ship, nor that it has a narrow balcony. The forward window in the bedroom looks fabulous.

    Do we get complimentary access to the Spa?
    what other benefits do we enjoy other than Club class dining. We are presently Platinum level Captains Club , though after this next cruise we will move up to Elite.

     

    The cruise is still over a year off so we are hoping that cruising will be safe enough by then. Our last cruise ended on March 10th and we were so very lucky. The next one after ours stopped for good at the first Port!

    I am surprised you have not been allocated a suite on the Regal.  I think everyone else was reassigned (me included).  Most were given forward suites.  At least one was assigned a midship-aft on deck 14 due to mobility issues.  You should be contacting your travel agent.  The last time I looked, there were not many suites left.  

    We were the couple who were initially allocated the forward suite, but due to DH's mobility difficulties,  Princess changed us to a mid/aft suite on health and safety grounds.

     

    I don't know if I would have been so patient as original poster, and defo would be on to Princess asap.

  15. We were booked in a window suite on the Grand but now replaced by the Regal. We were given a full suite on Regal as there are  no window suites on Regal and on changeover a guarantee was given that you would be teansferred to a similar or better stateroom.

     

    If you haven't been given a full suite then get on to your T/A or Princess to query this. We were re-allocated about 3 weeks ago.
