  1. Back to the OP.... We always felt safe (not a couple of hundred people there).

We never walked there took #10 Jitney (local bus line, lots of fun).

I am thinking not a whole lot of people know about this place, just follow scubagirrl's advise! (she is the best!)

clackey: Conch is on my list too, but, I get all the "shrimps" I can handle on the ship;)

RWA: Great info, keepin this in mind! We did an overnite on the Sensation, had my 90yr. old DM with me, so, I had to "behave". She can run "circles" around me though:eek:

    Back to OP.....

Here are some a few more shots from the Fry, on one you can see the distance from the ships, not that far at all. These were taken from the Anchorage, there at the Fry.

    You won't be dissapointed:D

Team Waiter, I Kadek; Chief Head Waiter, Rodrigues; Assistant Team Waiter, I Komang. We thought they were the best!

Oh, remember that Crème Brule that was only offered once on the menu? Remember how good it was? No, because some of you weren’t there and some of you who were didn’t try it! Remember I said you could make special requests? Tonight is my Crème Brule night! Yummmm! After dinner we wandered around the ship making our good-byes and then sat on the Lido Deck with a bunch of CC Friends to visit awhile. Nice folks.

Just as we were turning in for bed, we got a call from the two cousins. One of them came by the room with a ‘SOAS’ and we gave her our bottle of champagne. Along with the brass Legend Christmas Tree Ornament, this will be our ship souvenier.

OK. Now I can go make cappuccino and enjoy a pastry!

Loving your review! We were on this ship in March of this year and also had Rodrigues and his crew, they were a HOOT!

Here is my Sis gettin "Low" with Rodrigues, he was the Bomb!

  3. Hi Scubagirrl:

We are also thinking of visiting Graycliff Hotel and the distillery near that hotel + having lunch at Fish Fry.

Are those places relatively close to each other?

Wow! I have been researching a little on the Graycliff and John Watlings Distillery, for our up coming cruise on the Fascination (CCL), next month.

The Fish Fry is a given for us. We just Love that place.

Ardastra Gardens is a good place to see too!

Now, if the days will just speed up a bit, and get closer to our sailing:)

We have never been to Junkanoo, either, it is on our list too.

We will be in port from 9am-8pm, so that will help us get some cool stuff done!

There is plenty to do in Nassau, for the life of me, I can't understand why you would want to stay on the ship??? Most of the fun stuff can be done on the cheap!:D

Fish Eyes, anyone??? Yummy stuff from the Fish Fry.... Grouper & Snapper, and Kalik!!!

Here is another shot looking down one of the streets there......

  4. We have been to three different restaurants at the Fry and all of them were Great. We must make it a point to go, every cruise that includes Nassau. Want to try Goldies next month. Nassau is Da Bomb! :D

  5. I always decorate our door, too. When we are cruising, we are in a festive mode, Hey, it's Vacation Time, have fun.

I always make sure to clean the door up extra good, when it's time to vacate the ship. I just use scotch tape, and that works just fine.

Just like the folks above say, it makes it so easy to find your stateroom.

This was our door on the Dream, this year........

  6. Sailed the Dream three times, all of them in a cove balcony stateroom, and, yes, I have smelled the smell.

Not too bad, maybe a whiff in the hallways every not and then, not ever in the stateroom.

Maybe it is a Dream Class problem?

Anyhoo, I would not hesitate to sail any of Carnival's ships! Love Them All!
