Captain and officers.
Apparently this was the last cruise for Gordon (Cruise Director) before he goes on holiday. Fang would be taking over for the sailings out of Shanghai.

Our stateroom, 7694. Aft cabin, Junior Suite, very comfortable for my family of 4.
The sofa was converted into a nice and big sofa bed.
Views from the balcony.

That is the view of the cruise terminal from the pool deck of the Voyager. You can see lots of construction in the background.
Also, Marina Bay Sands - the integrated resort which includes a 5 star hotel, casino and lots of other stuff.
-
We certainly have never seen a cruise ship this big.
All aboard! As I recall, the ship left quite punctually.

Hi everybody,
My family just returned from the Voyager. My earlier attempt at a review turned out to be a failure.
Let me try again.
Here is the Voyager dwarfing the new Singapore international cruise terminal at Marina South. Hopefully the Oasis or Allure comes by some time in the future!
We arrived at 11am thereabouts and the check-in line was very short for Platinum and above C&A. Boarding time was 1130am. There is a nice big waiting area.

We are looking at a 2014 cruise for our 25th 2anniversary and it looks like the Legend is coming back to Florida. I know it is an older smaller Vision ship. I'm been on a couple of Vision class ships and it seems to me that how they look is somewhat dependent of the latest dry dock. Does anyone know if Legend will have a dry dock before returning to Florida and if so what they will be doing to her?
Any other information of Legend is appreciated. I tried to search past posts and couldn't find much.
Yes, I think Legend is going to the dry dock early next year.
Legend is going back to Florida in 2014? Interesting. Where did you get this piece of news?

We're thinking of a cruise on the Celebrity Silhouette in Nov 2013.
By then our kids would be 7 and 8.
I hope they have a good time in the Fun Factory!

From the RCCL website:
From memory, the wording on the T&C part of the website states that you accrue C&A points based on each completed cruise.
Ah, so it has been made clear.
The problem I am facing now is that my cruise points from my recent cruise (12th Dec 11 to 19th Dec 11) have yet to be added. Definitely more than 10 days.
And yes, we registered our C&A number with our booking. Onboard, we did receive vouchers.

As said above, we have done it on a B2B, not sure if they will do it on a single cruise but no harm in asking is there? The worst they can say is no :D
CK x
Yeah, no harm trying. You never know!

I don't think they allow this. It would be a logistical nightmare!
However, please go try and let us know whether you succeed.

I understand that Australia has very strict quarantine laws.
Are we allowed to bring food from the ship on shore to Australian ports of call?
What about porta of call in New Zealand?

Day 2 was a sea day. This is the front page of the cruise compass.
Notice the 3D screening of Puss in Boots in the La Scala theatre. We went for it. Pretty cool!
Meet & Mingle was scheduled for Day 2 at 11am. Unfortunately, by the time we settled the kids into the Kids' club, went to the gym, showered, it was time to pick the kids up again, so we missed the M&M.
