Because you didn’t see it doesn’t mean it wasn’t there. I am on my 19 cruise since the restart and it finally caught up with me on my last one. I was doing a b4b on the Allure and they did away with testing the b2b people on the 4th cruise. Had they been doing the testing I would have tested positive. The evening of the first day I started having a little bit of a sore throat and a cough. I self tested and was positive and then medical tested me and I was still positive. Pre-testing does work. Oh, and by the way they do reserve rooms for covid positive people. They wouldn’t do this if there wasn’t any on board. As they say ignorance is bliss. Also, it doesn’t matter how many cruises someone has done. Someone can get it even on their first cruise back. Another thing, “everywhere” wasn’t impacted as bad as the cruise industry.

So has RCI eliminated testing the b2b people prior to the second cruise for all ships?

Agree. Last 20yrs have only Cruised B3B or longer ALWAYS in same Cabin and except for last month each leg has been 10 Days or longer. Don't like to pack/unpack more then once or pay for Airfare/Hotel more then have to and way Airfare Prices starting creep up I'm ahead of the Game. Yes, the free Laundry Bag saves on me having to bring 3-4 Dozen pair Underwear!

Are you getting free laundry bags because of your C&A status or because it’s a B2B?

did you actually get to the last page of the booking where you type in The names?  Many times the KSF discount doesn’t show up till the last page. Sometimes it will before, but sometimes you have to go almost to the end to get it to appear.

I did and the KSF discount was applied. However, the 30% discount is removed, which may be the difference I am experiencing when comparing the cost for 2 adults, 3 adults, and 2 adults + 1 kid.

I did a mock booking for Nov 2020 CP balcony with 3 adults the price was $2749.06.

    This is with 30% off.

Same category with 2 adults and 1 kid the price was $2348.06.

While the kid is not entirely free there was a savings of $401.00 since with the KSF discount you lose the 30% discount.

I think I did that right.

I agree with your numbers. I just thought the price would be closer to the price for 2 adults or around $1,700 before taxes and fees.

What is the date?  Some dates in Nov are blocked out.  Also rooms that hold 3 and 4 are a different category and are more expensive.

We use KSF a lot. At least 3-5 times a year.   It truly is free except grats, taxes and port fees.

The date is Nov 1. If the date was blocked out would the option for kids sale free still show up during the booking?

Royal had changed around categories so cabins that hold 2 people are in a different category than those that hold 3 or 4. Was it the same exact cabin you priced out? If not what's the price difference between a cabin with 3 adults vs 2 adults and one child?

It wasn’t the same cabin but it was the same category (CP balcony same deck). The price for 3 adults was around $3,400 vs $2,900 for 2 adults and 1 kid.

  7. I did a mock booking for two adults in a Central Park Balcony on Harmony Next November and the price is roughly $1,900. When I do a mock booking for the same cabin with two adults and one child the price is roughly $2,900. Where in this scenario is the kid sailing for free? What am I doing wrong? I selected two adults and one child at age four before proceeding to cabin selection.
